I love this quote from Barak.

"It seems Iran in 2003 halted for a certain period of time its military nuclear program, but as far as we know, it has probably since revived it," Barak said.

    "Probably"?

Oh man, nothing like starting a bunch of shit based on conjecture.

    asshole.

Well it's pretty damn obvious I struck a nerve, by you resorting to vulgarity and name calling. During my time on this message board I have offered more intellectual debate in one post than you have in the past two days. You constantly mock others who do not share your opinion, your posts are usually littered with non-sense and hyperbolic statements devoid of any fact to back them. Your constant use of the word sheeple is annoying. You carry this air that anyone who doesn't see the world or events within your prespective is either a fool or brainwashed. Your basically a borderline troll who hardly offeres any real substance to any debate on this board.

As for my behavior ehere, it is no different than the way I act in the real world. I have no restarint in telling people how I feel about them. I don't do thisw in a malevelant or malicious way but I will not put on a face simply to hide my true feelings.

So I'm glad you don't like my smartass remarks. They where posted to mirror your usually bag of useless posts. Now maybe you can see what a bag of putrid vile your dumbass posts amount to.

They have said repeatedly they stopped trying to develope nukes a long time ago.
This is true. Ahmedinejad never confirmed they were going for the bomb. he just said Iran needs the nuclear power for its people. But also he denied the access of the UN investigators to the places where he was developing nuclear power.
Could it be that he was hoping for a similar agreement that N.Korea did. Think about it. You are not doing, let's say, project A but the big boys don't believe that and put pressure on you to stop doing project A and there is a fine example of what you can get from bigboys (N.Korea) if you made them believe that you are stopping project A. Jackpot, a lot of fund for Ahmedinejad from the bigboys when he most needs it (Iranian economy is not going very well these days). you can strike a deal getting permission to develop a peaceful nuclear program under the strict observation of IAEA so you get two birds with one stone.
And also Ahmedinejad was aware that american people won't support Bush even if he wanted to invade his wife's vagina so I think he took the risk.
but this report just came out on the wrong time.

Yeah the Iranians have been a sovereign nation (with some periods under invasion) for many thousands years, they really know how to make diplomacy and how to benefit from a position that seems against them. I am sure of that.
Not like Bush administration; bomb them first, ask the questions later...

It always seemed pretty apparent to me that the whole nuclear weapon theory was just a convenient excuse. Our intentions from the minute those planes hit the WTC and the Pentagon was to increase our sphere of influence in the Middle East. First by establishing a permanent military presense in the region and second by reassuring that the US dollar would continue to remain the petro currency. With China gobbling up oil contract in Iraq and Iran and Iraq and Iran threatening to start accepting the Euro as a means to purchase petro we where faced with the prospect of loosing our hegemonic grip of the world. Bush managed to succeed in dooping us into following his crusade into Iraq and the rhetoric about Iran was eerily similar. The problem with Iran was not this supposed nuclear weapon they where developing. The problem with Iran was that they where favoring China and Russia over us. They basically gave us the big fuck off and turned to our competitors and the US government isn't too receptive to that.
