I thought this guy was supposed to be dynamic, personable, an intellect of note...he sounds like a robot.

  • All this report thing is going to do is make the Iraqi resistance rally, and manufacture more war toys.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I think you give it more credit than it deserves.

I do hope there is a question and answer thingy after this automaton is finished with his report.
I want the old dude from California to ask him a thing or two.

I wish this guy had more dynamic range and some kind of personality.

He's just droning on about paragraphs of text. He sounds like a teenager on a high school debating team

    No conviction....no heart.

    blah...

I have to say, I would be irritated as well. And I'm against this war. There is a time and a place for 'verbal' protest and this is NOT one of those places. Personally, I rather hear the speakers on both sides of this matter opposed to folks shouting over each other. I'd throw them out as well. BTW, Skelton is a democrat, I believe. Nothing gets under my skin more than fools that make a cause I hold dear look ridiculous.

I've been a protester in DC and I have to say that to see that those crazily-pink-clad women were even allowed into the proceedings tells me something about the attitude of DC right now. They were allowed in for a reason. From my experience with security there, normally, they wouldn't have gotten past the front door.

That one lady in pink went a little too crazy imo...didn't seem legitimate to me.

I think they were legit. The fact that they were allowed in is fishy. Or, media-oriented. The Show is for the Average Joe and Jane, remember.

They could have had people outside polling the protesters so as to to pull in a few guaranteed nuts just waiting to pop.

I think the 'pink ladies' (or whatever they're called) have been at it for awhile.

    Also heard Sheehan got busted.
