I agree with it. I was at my little sisters graduation a couple years back and people were doing this same shit and you could not here half the students names because it was so out of hand. Some people have no fucking respect for others and no sense of courtesy. its about time some one did something.
I never understood this. What's the big rush?....is it against the law to wait a few seconds in between calling out the names? Honestly, how long do people actually applaud for anyways...seconds?!...whoaaa!

I think it's unfair, because it's punishing the kid for the actions of his/her parents/family members/friends. Maybe their family members should have to do some sort of service to make amends, but they should leave the kid out of it.
My dad was actually a high school principal in the town where I grew up, and his policy was that the diploma could be withheld if the *student* did something to seriously disrupt the ceremony, but he would never have punished a student for someone else's actions. That's ludicrous.
I'm with you. I'm picking up yet another degree tomorrow at Ely Cathedral, and you're all invited to run around with your tits out, male or female. There's nothing more fucking boring than clapping. I've had that nonsense a few times, now.

What a great example of science and it's limits in "judgment".
Although it's not at all funny, I laughed out loud when I learned the people had to pretend to be insane to get out of the hospital. I learned very early on to "accept" my own role as being insane, because when you don't, that's when they really treat you poorly. It's so....insane.
This is why there are many secret sects of wisdom-keepers. Our general mediocrity in society cannot handle true visionary awareness. Due to the witch-hunt mentality, the occult--or what is hidden--must remain hidden.
And people do such witch-hunting in the name of advancement. Ha!

So.. the point is that psychiatry is kind of flawed, and if you tell a doctor you are hearing voices in your head, then you are going to be diagnosed as insane. Makes sense to me. And 2 months? That's not that long. I've spend some time in a psychiatric ward. It's not all bad, just don't walk around saying "Murder, Death, Kill" and you'll be out eventually.
But I know first hand that some doctors are bad and some doctors are good. It's irrelevant to any insane claims about reality.

The mental health professional who has been involved with me for the longest and the most indepthly is a social worker who worked with our family in our home. This woman has witnessed the worst times of my life. I've known her for over ten years, professionally and as a friend. She always validated my intelligence and mind, and worked in helping my children and I deal with people like Ahnimus and the close-minded stigma people love to put on others in order to feel better about themselves and their tunnel-visioned agendas.
She provided a reference for me. Recently, my coordinator read to me what my references said about me, and this social worker, among other glowing and awesome things, said that I was very even-keeled. I thought that was super-ironic, since it was considered that I have bi-polar disorder which is "supposedly" evidenced by great fluctuation of mood.
