I still think that ultimately the blame for the mortgage crisis are the idiots that bit off more than they could chew.
1/3 and 1/3 and 1/3..the idiots that didn't realize they can't have a $2000 mortgage on $30K income and the idiots that gave them the loan...or worse the idiots that bought those loans. All three should absorb this mess...but ultimately we will.

Exactly. And there's also a reason why those academics (who apparently don't know anything :rolleyes: ) vote liberal, and those who don't hold passports vote conservative.
On the latter, I still haven't heard anyone address the point brought up by the Republican senator. How can you even think to run in a presidential campaign when you only got your passport the year earlier? That says a tremendous amount about one's ignorance I think to not even see that the world extends further than your country doesn't it? - That maybe it is worth seeing a differant perspective.
