It's on with Iran...

All of us "conspiracy theorists" knew it was on with Iran and Syria after 9/11. It's all part of the neo-con plan.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire0

Huh?enharmonic wrote:1. The US is foolish to stop the sale of F-14 spares. They're useless to us, and we need the money.
2. The U.S. cannot unilaterally tell other nations who have bought F-14's that they are banned from exporting spares. They bought the planes. They own 'em. If they wanna raffle 'em off to the public in a lottery, that's their business. Not wise, but theirs to do with as they see fit. They bought 'em...they own 'em.
3. The U.S. has been dicking with Iran for nearly 50 years. We're not going to stop just because our president has no integrity or credibility. America's black eye in foreign policy will take decades to erase as it is...at this point, there's no such thing as insult to injury. Our name is mud with far too many nations for us to be concerned with world opinion on Iran.
4. We do not recognize the authority of the world court, so that basically gives us a blank check to shit on anyone we see fit...unless they have the bomb...then we act like we have some common sense, and try to solve problems with "diplomacy". Basically, we don't pick on anyone our own size...or anyone who can truly stand up to us.

The problem with you conspiracy theorists is that you give these "neo cons", whoever they may be, the credit for being smart enough to pull off such a mass conspiracy. They aren't that smart. And conpiracy theorists are......well...kinda paranoid anyways.0 -

Ok, now you are stereotyping conspiracy theorists
Coup d'etats happen all the time, in this day an age, most operations are covert and conspiracies are abounding. Not all the theories are wrong, but some of the nuts give the practice a bad name.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. P.S. I'm not paranoid, I have a problem with my fear gland, no enzymes

what you call a conspiracy, i call a coincidence...
and to say they couldn't pull it off is wrong. when you run the country, and have an event like 9/11 that stirs that much fear, anything is possible.those undecided, needn't have faith to be free0 -

Because of what we did to Iran in the 50's. Kermit Roosevelt went over there and bought a coup.0 -

Just like the US arms the jews and armed Iraq.0 -

Heh, that's only because the information about those events was declassified. Everything was peachy more-or-less until '79."Sarcasm: intellect on the offensive"

What I was trying to say is that because Bush completely fucked up the Iraq war, its going to be very difficult convincing people that we need to go to war with Iran. Even if it was completely necessary, good luck conveying that to people who already feel they've been lied to and taken advantaged of.0 -
I tell ya what......all this bullshit is really really scary.
This situation is so different then any other war in the past.
Strange, but if was happening when I was single I would not think about it so much, maybe for selfish reasons. But now, with a wife and baby..........man oh man it is really scaring the shit out of me.Get em a Body Bag Yeeeeeaaaaa!

read the p.n.a.c. documents, they were intent on doing this BEFORE 9-11,all they needed to get Americas backing was a "pearl harbor like event".HHMMMMMMMM"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. The US brought this shit upon themselves. They want a war with Iran. They don't like anything about them and they've been provoking them for a while, to a point where a war is going to start.0
