Are fans who would have been in 9/10 getting bumped to the very back?

Can we get a straight answer here?

Are the folks with fan club numbers such that they would normally be in row 9 and 10 getting bumped to 11 and 12? Or are they getting bumped to the very back? Or even the very back of 10C member allotments?

What's going on? As someone who's about to drive 10 hours to see a show, I think it's only fair to know what the issues are ahead of time.

are you there to see the show or worry about your seats???

seriously how many threads are there going to be about this??

its random 10c seating in certain rows, expect the unexpected, rock out whatever row you are in and enjoy the show!!!

That's just stupid. What's the point of having the seniority rule if people will end up getting screwed?

This is coming from a guy who has a 407xxx, number by the way. I think they should stick to one rule and that's it. There's no "enjoy the concert from the back" if you know you're supposed to be in the 11th row...

have you read the policy for this tour???

just be happy you are there and have a seat and aren't on the lawn. if it was a major tour to support an album then complain and i'll support you but this mini tour is a nice summer surprise and they decided to mix it up a bit so sit back and enjoy the music and let some other people get a nice view for once, you'll be back up front within the next two years......

yeah.... but that means that people who used to be in the 10th row should be moved to the 12th or 14th or whatever.... not all the way to the back...

why does it matter where you sit? especially if you have been that close for the past 10 years or so? so what if you have to go to the back for one show?

i dont know bout you but im there for the music

dont take this as a personal attack on you, please, its just all the whining about seats lately

I'm not taking it as a personal attack, don't worry. I'm not even the one doing the complaining. My number is 407xxx, so I don't even have much to complain about. All I'm saying is that I can see where the people with the low numbers are coming from. If I spent $80 on a concert ticket and was expected to sit in a good seat, then got a seat in the far back, I'd definitely be angry. Thing is, if 10c never promised to seat people by seniority then it wouldn't matter... but they do, so it does matter.

They are not intentionally going to send you to the back. Apparently there were some mix-ups. The lotto is obviously just going to push you back a couple rows.
Yes, mistakes were made, people were pissed, understandably...BUT questions like this are ridiculous...use common sense.

I don't think it's a ridiculous question to ask. I know that I typically sit somewhere in between rows 7 and 12. If they had said ahead of time that there was a chance I would be sitting in the back, I wouldn't have bought tickets.

But, they didn't say that. They said folks would be shifted back sequentially. If that's not happening, it's bait and switch selling.

Well said. I'm traveling from Seattle to MSG with a pretty good 10c#. I booked the trip knowing i should have pretty good seats whether i hit the lotto or not. We do have a right to bitch about our seats if there's some funny business going on at the box office. 10c has set a high standard for taking care of us.

Im with this guy. I (my wife) unfortunately did not renew my 10c membership and I got screwed with lawn tickets for Camden 1. But I gotta say, it wasnt bad from there for me. I was there to enjoy the show, listen to good music, hang with good people and drink some good beer. Why all of this crying about being 11 rows back or whatever.... sheesh I woulda been so lucky to get that.

So if we tell you that you might get bumped to the back of the 10C section, are you going to refuse to go to the show?

But now you've already bought the tickets, so what are you gonna do? Not go on the miniscule chance that you might possibly perhaps maybe get screwed?

Possibly ... but this guy's bitching about the *possibility* of getting screwed. He hasn't been screwed yet, and doesn't know that he will be.

but yeah i dont see how be bumping back to the 12 row when u normaly sit in the 8 row thats not really fair. i guess as long as your in the show that all that matters but, the ten club are known for the best seats avalible and your number should be based on when u joined the club.

Ok, you will not be bumped to the back!!! You'll be in row 11. Or, you might win first row. Just enjoy!

I can't take another thread like this.

It would be funny if someone in the fourth row "wins the lottery" and gets put in the 9th or 10th row.

and to quote myself from another thread:
I will tell you the difference between rows:

Row 1-5, you see the show.
Row 6-10, you see the show if you are 5ft 7in or taller.
Row 11-20, you see the show if you are 6ft or taller.
Row 20-start of escalated seating, gooooood luck.
Escalated Seating - lawn...you see the show, but from a distance. Bring Binoculars...oh wait....

So complain about me posting this thread all you want, but don't impose your beliefs on how to enjoy a concert on me. I maintain my 10C membership for multiple reasons, as I'm sure you do, and ticket seniority is one of my reasons.

I think that's part of the point: There are already multiple threads on this subject (although one of them has to do with tickets that were possibly stolen).

No need to create yet another one.

My question is: What did you hope to accomplish with this thread? You've already purchased your tickets. Are you really not going to go to your show if you get an answer you don't like?

    This thread was pretty pointless.

let me get this straight. you are complaining that sitting in row 12 would be a disservice to you because you normally sit in row 8? wow.

I want to push awareness. You may know but others may not. And yes, I already did purchase my tickets, but that doesn't mean we should be kept in the dark if the 10C ticket allocation is not proceeding as advertised.

I'll go to the show regardless, because I've planned vacation around it and already invested a lot of money in it. But you can't disagree it's a shitty deal if, instead of getting bumped to 11/12, you get bumped to the lawn or wherever. And that in and of itself is reason enough to make a "pointless" thread. Don't like it? Don't read it. But if you do read it, put yourself in someone else's shoes.

why don't you put yourself in all of our shoes who sit towards the back every single time and still have a great time with no complaints. oh wait, no, complaining and pouting is much better. carry on.

I've been in the very back of many shows. Believe me. I've had a great time there too. I am annoyed at Bait-And-Switch selling which, if you read the threads carefully, appears to have been what happened.

Actually, if YOU read the threads carefully, it looks like tickets might have been stolen and one show, and there was a mistake made with a handful of people at one other show, which the 10Club has apologized for and is looking into.

It's not like this has been happening at every single show, or is a matter of policy. Just chill out and see what happens at yours before you get your little white panties in a bunch.

I totally sympathize with the low numbered people the other night getting tickets way in the back. But complaining about a 4 row difference is unbelievable. I sat in 104 Row T on Thursday and 104 Row P last last night and couldn't tell the difference at all. Give me a break.

Quite the attitude you have there. I'm just looking for answers to ensure I'm going to get what I'm paying for. Have we seen a guarantee these things will not happen again? I'd rather speak up ahead of time and reduce the chance of getting similarly screwed than wait til it's happened when you REALLY can't do shit about it.

Just to clarify as in the title of the thread...I'm not complaining about a 4 row difference at all. I fully support that system. I'm asking if that system is being implemented properly or if it's not. Because there are some indications that it's not.
