Bob Geldof says President Bush has done more to help Africa than any other Predient ever. This is another example of the media ignoring his wonderful accomplishments. Read about it when the Time magazine articla comes out. Remember when President Bush stood up to China by presenting the Dalai Lama with an award? There really is a media bias in the country which is trully blinding our youth. It presents people like Shawn Penn as authorities on morality (Jeff Spicoli). This is scary. Put aside your hatred and dig deeper into what the president has done. Hate is a nasty thing.
Government is not the solution to our problem. Government is the problem. --Ronald Reagan

kind of like you comparing a character(Jeff Spicoli) the real person(Sean Penn)?
BTW I don't think anyone with half a brain considers Sean Penn as an authority on morality.
Have you spent much time on here?
What's really funny is that people blame Bush for the economy, that isn't all that bad. Just wait until the Democrats take all the money away from the people who hand out jobs, and then see where we will be. I wonder if there are people out there who do not understand what will happen when taxes are raised. Companies relocate to other countries.
Some states have 12% income tax rates. Add that to the 45% we'll see under the Democrats, and you are paying 57% of your income to governments. Who'd want to take any risks to put money into an investment when you already losing 57% of the profits to the government?
You assume people on here have a whole brain
I make the dumbest assumptions sometimes.
I never have thought of Bush and Africa together, should be interesting. I wonder what those neo cons have planned...
Africa has some good resources. Namely, diamonds and oil.
Probably setting themselves up for control of the economies there.
I know they were criticized with the Aids policies for manipulating them to the benefit of big parmaceutical companies here in America.
The next step would be trading aid for oil or resource control.
Or restructuring of their trade policies.
Something like that.
Don't think Bush is Mother Teresa, for goodness sake.
If I opened it now would you not understand?
as you make it quite apparent

If Bush has done more to 'help' Africa than any other US president its gotta be bad over there.
its probably something along the lines of "how can helping that continent benefit us". neo cons are not known for acting out of the goodness of their hearts, unless they stand to gain in some way.
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
This just proves what a twat Bob Geldof really is.
The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.
talk about propaganda... the dems will not be making the tax rate 45% for middle to lower class americans...
not to mention the wealthy have historically paid 50% and up... you know, when we were at our strongest economically
you guys on the right are really funny sometimes
the conservative movement is dead...
more then that... including natural gas
Surely we all think bush is a fucking idiot. The Evil genius' as you put it are the people who control him.

I'm sure if Mother Theresa was a Republican most of the people here would hate her, if Eddie told you to.
Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world do not have. -Ronald Reagan.
How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin. -Ronald Reagan
I don't believe in a government that protects us from ourselves. -Ronald Reagan
The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.' -RR
I dunno but the Norwegian economy is going along quite nicely, as it has done for decades, with arguably such a national tax pressure. Investors and business owners still make money and they still hire people. The talk here nowadays is a lack of labourers.
Just saying there's no iron law to it that you seem to posit. Liek everything, it depends on how it's done.

"Every judgment teeters on the brink of error. To claim absolute knowledge is to become monstrous. Knowledge is an unending adventure at the edge of uncertainty." - Frank Herbert, Dune, 1965
Those quotes are funny considering just how much he increased the federal government size and scope in his eight years in the Whitehouse.
I guess the right wing radio propaganda really does work, huh?
Ok, be honest with us... you didn't type that all with a straight face did you?

I'm sure the people in New Orleans are thrilled about his wonderful accomplishments such as this.

As SundaySilence has just proved...
Not everything he does is going to be awful, just an awful lot of things. I'm glad to know Bush has actually done something good. History will not be kind of his presidency.
As for Africa it kind of makes me think about Europe during the cold war : the middle ground for a confrontation between russia and the us. Except today it's more between the us and china and the weapons are mostly financial. China is doing business in africa (and fucking up as well).
