I honestly wasn't looking to hijack the thread. I gave my opinion on it, and that's about all. Whether or not you know a few people formerly from Venezuela is irrelevent. You can use it to pad your opinion, but that doesn't make it a good opinion, or free your own opinion from scrutiny any more than my opinions are free from scrutiny. I want people to question my viewpoints, but if it just comes down to hurling insults back and forth, it's kind of pointless.

I think it's kind of ridiculous to chuck blame at the first person to explicitly insult someone else. There is a lot of implicit insulting that goes on here by those that would claim to be innocent. Little secret tremors, turn to quakes.

As polaris said, it is in my blood as a UN worker to maintain my composture . Seriously, I did not felt attacked; however I thank those who felt I was being attacked for defending me. We should always debate in civilized manner, we'll agree on some issues disagree on others, but debating ideas is never wrong if respect is maintained.
Too bad a good thread has to be polluted by the incessant childish remarks of a few.
