for your information that is your opinion and also.. keep this in mind.. you dont have to vote for something you don't want to...you can pick and choose what you wish to vote for...just throwing that in there. that is your opinion though.

He ended the draft when no other senator would.

he is anti war... he would have done it to stop the iraq war from happening WHEN every senator could have...BUT DIDNT.

also he has a hand in every energy conservation bill from alaska... his name is all over alaska... hes pretty much the king of alaska :)

while he was senator he also chained himself to forests and trees that are still there today because of him..

he created the national intiative act...which you can visit the website now and sign up... it empowers the people.

    i can go on..just ask me to..and i will make a reply

    all that is great, mac.
I'm glad to see you contributing real substantive argument to the debate.

    Answer this:
How much REAL SUPPORT do you see Gravel having, and do you see him gaining even something like 3% of the vote by the time primaries roll around?

Ron Paul has 10% acording to the VERY SKEWED polls ...
and the internet is a great indicator that his real support is much more rabid than that.

No one is arguing whether Gravel is a good well-meaning man with some valid policy views (though i think some of them are not so great, truthfuly) ...

... what really matters is support and the possibility of leveraging those points of view to REAL CHANGE visa vis ELECTION!

If you think Ron Paul doesn't have a chance, surely you must concede that Gravel has a NEGATIVE chance. :(

i think nader convincing gravel to run with him would be a great idea

and also...i come here with facts... you argue opinions all you want...it wont get you anywhere
  • So Texas is now the porthole to hell?

I was wondering where on earth it was. I was convinced it was Cheney's office.

i'm asking YOU for YOUR OPINION on the electability of Gravel.

    CAN HE GET THE NOMINATION?

    Does he have ANY support?
    What are the numbers?

Give me some facts that show how he can get enough votes to win?

Hell, i think he has ALREADY MISSED A LOT OF DEADLINES FOR DELEGATES!

    Does he have delegates?
RI, OH, and many others had or have delegate deadlines this week or next!

    ???

Actually Gravel is in dire straits. His campaign has almost run out of money, and he's pleading for help. Hate to say it but he comes across a bit like a senile old guy, and I actually like the guy, and agree with a lot of what he's saying.

Can you imagine the face value interpretations? batshit crazy is my guess...
