he did a good job of rebuilding. as for inspections; how many secret underground labs do we have? if we wanted to hide WMDs we could do it easily.

bush made a big speach about the helium3 a couple years ago and the national geographic channel shows a documentary about how helium3 can provide the world with clean power and hows there's enough to power the entire world for 1000 years. so if you haven't heard about this program it's not because it hasn't had enough media coverage.

    hopefully nobody cares about hilary.

    Dude... you are scaring me.
Hussein could barely finish redecorating his bathroom, let alone rebuild an entire weapons research and development prorgam as well as manufacturing production, distribution and storage. And have you seen pictures of Iraq? Underground labs? Secret storage? The fucking guy was hiding is a hole in the ground, eating Snickers bars. You are delusional.
The Iraq we are talkng about is the Iraq on Planet Earth... not the Iraq where you live.

Well after reading about helium 3 on wikipedia it doesn't seem that we are any where near ready to replace our current energy source with helium 3.

I figured we just start a Helium3 farm outside of Taft, California.

I could think of a few off the top of my head that are much more deserving of this title.

There are definitely a few more on this board that would fit under that title.

To answer the original posted question, I was a Republican all my life and voted for Bush in 2000. After that, I stopped voting (and caring). I've seen Bush do too many things (and commit too many near-crimes) during his Presidency to have turned me off the GOP completely. I completely and totally regret having voted for him in the 2000 general election after McCain lost to him in the primary.

The war in Iraq is unwanted by most Americans, at this point. It is also unwanted by Iraqis, as Kat's link makes very, very clear.

We can all sit here, all night -- all week, even -- and post stupid comments to each other about our differing ideals, but what it comes down to is this: We made a mistake in authorizing this war. We made a mistake in believing that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and was going to use them against us. We made a mistake in going into Iraq to hunt Osama bin Laden down. We should have kept our troops concentrated in Afghanistan and used Intelligence and diplomacy to find out where bin Laden was, with other countries backing us with their own Intelligence. Our country made a mistake and Bush is doing nothing to rectify it.

Anyone who thinks that Bush and Cheney are the good guys fighting the Evil Empire and "Ter'ism" aren't reading the news. Wolfowitz, Gonzalez, Rove....they stand as proof that our country is led by nothing but a Good Ole Boy who is intent on getting nothing but Good Oil cheap.

Our occupation of Iraq is nothing but that: an occupation. Our reasons for being there have nothing to do with 9/11. Wake up.

I love this "WE" crap. The man stole the first election. Not that Gore was a savior but WE wouldn't be in Iraq. WE might actually be doing something about global warming. WE wouldn't have the rest of the world hating us.
I want to point out that people who seem to have no power, whether working people, people of color, or women -- once they organize and protest and create movements -- have a voice no government can suppress. Howard Zinn

What are you still trying to fool yourself that Bush still might be legit after all this nonsense and people are *still*
    just over reacting?

Oh...is this also serving as the I voted for Bush confessional thread?

Yeah I voted for the Republican Presidential candidate in ´04.
I didn´t go out campaigning for Bush or anything, but I did end up punching his ticket.
I think it was easier knowing it wouldn´t make any difference in the electoral college being in California as he wasn´t even close.

Still, we were at war and I don´t remember Kerry saying he would end the war as soon as he got elected so I didn´t see much difference between the two skull and boners anyway.

Besides, I never claimed to be a GOOD citizen.
And yeah, excellent link by the admin with the cute name.
