regulated capitalism. And you ask me what I want this year
And I try to make this kind and clear
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
Cuz I don't need boxes wrapped in strings
And desire and love and empty things
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days0 -

Freedom is mission accomplished. Freedom feels like the end of the day, a job well done.

Freedom is choice.
Plain and simple, freedom is choice. When you go to buy salad dressing you have the freedom to select out of 75+ different dressings.
Happiness is lack of choice.
When you don't have to decide between 75 dressings and just choose either ranch, italian or thousand island, it's way easier and much more gratifying.
Because happiness is relative and synthetic happiness is the same as "real" happiness. It's arguable that people in authoritarian states live happier lives.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire0 -

freedom is a state of mind, but living in a country that lets you choose helps out a lot tooNo problem can be solved from the same consciousness that created it.

Freedom is whatever Bush says it is isn't it?"Sarcasm: intellect on the offensive"
"What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact."

Freedom is the opportunity to do something or to not do it. If you're going to do then it is also how much of said action your going to do.If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.
Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.

If that is really a grateful dead lyric, then jerry mustah ripped it from Janis Joplin's "Mc and Bobby McGee", which was written by Kris Kristofferson.
And it goes: Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose.0 -
Read my signature.
Freedom is an unobtainable ideal, but one worth striving for. Fundamentally it requires a lucid, and strong questioning faculty, and an ability to adapt to a variety of situations without allowing external forces to violate ones inner and outer space.
We are constantly under attack. Be on the watch!0 -

Freedom isn't as complicated as you think.
