Nonsense, why would Russia want chemical weapons?

Weren't Iran and Iraq mortal enemies? I thought the reason why Hussein always boasted about nuclear weapons was to keep Iran at bay. Iran hated the secular Iraq because of the persecution of Shi'ite Muslims.
My guess would be, Iran halted their nuclear program in 2003 because they thought they were next in line for the 'Axis of Evil' ass-whooping. But, after a couple of years of seeing us stuck in the mire, they figured, "America won't attack us from a base that is now in Shi'ite hands". All Iran has to do is let Iraq have free elections.

of course they have religious differences..everyone does...there biggest quarrels have always been land and the fact that the U.S. funded Iraq to go to war with Iran while at the same time giving money to Iran through saudi relations.... maybe enemies, but not stupid in time of war and destruction.. saddam was no fool...neither is bin laden...and if you think otherwise.. than you will be the fool

    Your evidence is overwhelming...

in times of being blatantly lied to and the fact after 7 years...STILL NO ONE QUESTIONS OR SEEMS TO CARE who the actual enemy is in IRAQ.

so apparently its left up to me...and this is what ive gathered...
amongst millions in this country who refuse to question or think, i guess i will do it for you...

the crazy thing is...you talk of evidence...you dont need evidence in this country..you should know that...why do you think after 7 years you still don't know a damn thing about your president and what he is doing and what he did before getting elected.

So evidence is about as useful as being a prophet... so lemme go out on a limb today and say... the person who wins the presidency next year... is gonna follow the same line as BUSH because everyone who votes come november 7th is voting for the candidate who is more electable, who has stolen the most money.

continue to watch the medias tactics and the results are staggering... millions dead...a country lost...

    live from new york

youve been robbed and left for dead.

your lack of imagination is overwhelming roland and thats how the news and world events are one step ahead of you.. and always will be as long as you listen to their stories.

Eddie Vedder said it best... ''the truth is on the present''

so why the fuck cant you look around and form your own opinions... THATS OVERWHELMING.
  • There's a great (great) many who can see (and know) what's going on in Iraq. Ron Paul for starters, who is quite possibly going to be the next president of the USA. About a year ago I would have agreed with you pretty much unconditionally (not about myself though). I've known about most of this shit since shortly after 2004.

He would have to get elected first to be able to talk that far into the demilitarization process, however, he does want zero to do with policing other countries. His values and goals are to let the people of each and every country govern themselves free of govt control and influence (and taxation).

Interesting you seem to know very little to nothing about the guy.

    Who you voting for?

I think you might want to brush up on your Iran/Iraq history... specifically the 1980 - present period. I'm not sure what you mean by this, "maybe enemies, but not stupid in time of war and destruction..". Are you talking about war and destruction occuring today?
If so, then Iran is looking to expand their influence over the region... especially a region with a large oil reserve. An oil reserve that Western Economies are addicted to. During Hussein's reign, Shi'ia Muslims were oppressed because Hussein hated them and their seat of power, Iran. And the quarrel is 1400 year old and began when Sunnis took control over the Muslim Religion by murdering the leader of the Shi'ia sect. Toss in the Imam Ali Mosque in Najaf, Iraq (the third holiest site in the Shi'ia religion)... and there you have it.

Do you really mean Russia or one of its breakoff States. Russia doesn't need to import chemical weapons.

You do know that Saddam was "hanged" on 12/30/2006 so how does this whole Russian immunity thing for Saddam workout in 2007.

Russia's not interested in taking control of Alaska's oil. Russia is claiming the North Pole and an expansion of the Bering Sea due to polar melting and that has nothing to do with the event in the middle east or its players.

In case you missed it, with Hunt Oil now in place and the fact that the U.S. wants to run a new pipeline across Iraq into Israel. This will give Israel "military" oversight over the northern part of Iraq which contains 40% of Iraq's oil reserves. The answer is Israel.
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

p.s. just because you read an articl on iraq and iran doesnt mean anything and has no basis here.

also saddam was installed in iraq by the u.s. because he is greedy and wouldnt have any influence over the region. he used genocide to kill kurds...his cities were not ruled brutally...
