Tony,

As a person who shares a significant amount of responsibility for the deaths of thousands of human beings through the propagation of your lies to the world, I do not think it a coincidence that cancer found you....

you knew you were lying during each briefing....it would have been so

obvious to you....and you did nothing....

you were the administration's voice to the media....

and you went along with it...

and I wonder if you thought about that as a possible reason for contracting

your illness at some point...

you owed the world an apology...

I'm sorry for your family and your children for the loss of their father...

however,

I feel worse for the children and the loved ones of innocent people all over

the world who have died because of the words that came directly from

your mouth....your energy was carcinogenic...i think it is not a coincidence

that you died from cancer.
"WE'RE UH, WE'RE GONNA DO THIS ONE WHICH IS UH, CERTAINLY NOT A USUAL ONE, AND THEN UH, JUST TAKE A FEW MORE MINUTES, THEN UH, AND THEN WE'RE GONNA DO OUR BEST TO KEEP TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS AWAKE FR..." (cheering at intro)...

why do good people get cancer then.

I have to take exception to this. As much as some people are scum and it seems fitting if they snuff it, there are also countless others who have died from cancer and who could be considered to be anything from just good decent people, to beautiful people and a force for good in the world.

Your equating cancer with bad behaviour seems to be a tad off the mark. There is no justice in this world as far as i can see. If there was then Bill Hicks would still be with us, along with a pit member who died of cancer last year - Hippiemom.

i am in no way emotionally invested in Tony shaw, but i am emotionally invested in principle.

celebrating his death changes nothing. dancing on his grave will change absolutely nothing for him and instill bitterness in us that we do not need.

cancer is heartbreaking. it takes lives and destroys families.

    show some respect please.

Two threads about this guy. Two threads that were pointless to begin with. Nobody here really gives a shit about this person. So why are we discussing his death? I wasn't going to post on the other thread about him until people started pretending to care.

How is this any different than Pat Robertson's claim that Hurricane Katrina was caused by New Orleans' gays?

Seriously ... if there's one thing Tony Snow's death has taught me, it's that there are some sick, twisted individuals on this board.

    It's scary, really.

but this is bullshi*t. I do not care in any way, shape or form for anyone remotely involved with the Bush cabinetry. However, as a cancer survivor, I have to say that gloating when someone is afflicted with cancer and dies from it is just sad.

Bitch about the policies that have got this country so fucked up, and don't be ugly about someone who was doing the job they believed in (no matter if it is a crock of shit), but then ended up getting the bitch of it all.

Yeah, I am rambling, but I am also on vacation, having a cocktail or two and on my way to get a new tat. :)

    Rag on me, I don't care. :P
I still want you all to "take care"--I am just damn tired of typing it.

i care about all people.........i know if i were to sit down with my enemy and begin to discuss pointless topics and topics of concern, i would find out that we have more in common than we do not have in common.

and in all honesty.........after i finished talking with my worst enemy, usually a person who commits heinous crimes against the defenseless, i would not be saddened to see the person dealt with.
live and let live...unless it violates the pearligious doctrine.

The man has a wife and children that are mourning now. I didn't care for the man at all, but shit like this is sick. Liberal or conservative, it's a sad story when a father won't get the chance to bounce his unborn grandchildren on his knee.

People who share Tony's beliefs have caused that feeling on thousands of troops who were sent into war for no reason, but that doesn't make up that this is a sad story for a family and a man. While he was part of the administration, he also had a life outside of politics and was just a man. I suggest many people in this thread do the same thing...

There are over a million Iraqis who weren't given this same privilege thanks to this man.

How can someone mourn for a guy who's actual JOB it was to lie to our entire country?! And through that cause millions of innocent deaths?! Are you people fucking insane? Calling people who don't mourn for this asshole "hypocrites" is just fucking retarded. I hated this guy two days ago, now I have to feel sorry for him?! Give me a fucking break.

I'm done talking about this useless subject.
