Actually looking back now, I'm glad they can't. They are nothing but watered down corporate Repubs anyway, giving only the illusion of choice. If enough people get tired of this same old song and dance maybe we can start seeing some third and fourth parties making some more progress.

You can't tell me that if you were driving and for whatever reason, you were driving while sleepy or distracted by the stereo or drivig too fast on slick pavement and lost control of your vehicle and slammed into a bus stop, killing someone waiting for the bus... that you would not get yourself a lawyer and plead guilty of negligence resulting in involuentary manslaughter and spend 7 to 10 years in prison. That is also considered not holding yourself accountable for your actions, isn't it?

Most everyone with a Congressional or Senate seat who's been there for years is a "shit-ass" politician, regardless of party affiliation. Actually, being a politician and not a public servant automatically makes one pretty much shit-ass, if you ask me.

Anyone that believes Republicans are better than Democrats (or Democrats are better than Republicans) have their heads so far up their asses that they can see the backs of their teeth.
