    lol...I'm still waiting to hear Obama come up with some real solutions, I haven't lost hope entirely on him....still in highly skeptical mode. It's above his head is how I see it.

    The concern for me is how the rest of the world would interpret that situation....just looking at it face value going in, it's looking pretty ugly. Especially in the Middle East.

    that's true. If we elect a hardliner like Mccain I think the term 'arms race' will take on a new meaning.

    Nice try. I have two acoustic sets also... Yamaha and a Pearl. Ever Jam balls off the wall at 3am on an acoustic?

    not to change subjects of this thread....i have never jammed balls off the wall at 3am, if you have thats cool...i have played on an acoustic drumset at 3am...no problem...

    How bout practice anytime and not make any noise on a electric kit that sounds like an acoustic kit...and feed in sweet studio quality audio tracks to boot. There is no better or more professional situation available.

    I bet I get in a lot more skin time (any time) than any acoustic player....and that's what really counts.

    Ridiculously expensive would be the proper term...it's hard to put a price on how much fun I've had with it though...it's so many kits in one....never boring.

    The brains and drum units are all interchangeable (as far as I know), so you can mix and match everything together and reach a compromise, upgrade later, expand etc...

    The TD 9SX is probably half the price (I would think) It sounds pretty nice and uses a lot of the dual triggering shells with rim triggering with the mesh heads and multi-triggered cymbals (the mesh heads are mandatory)

    I get all my spices on Gerrard street in Toronto (Indian district)...couple of really nice buffets there as well (Skylark, Handi)...my Indian buddy tells me the Lahore Tikka house is off the charts...spice it up nicely ...light sweat on the cheeks, and yes, hot buttered naan is crazy good with everything...
