No one voted for Biden to be president during the primaries, but they seem to be okay with him being a heartbeat away.

How is your comment related to my comment that Sarah Palin read a speech that had been mostly written by speechwriters, who wrote it before her selection was known by the speechwriters? This thread is about Palin, not Biden, and Biden's being a heartbeat away from a president does not take away from the fact that Palin is not ready to be VP.

I love the right wingers who say, "Like Biden is any better!"

so if Biden sucks, it's ok for Palin to suck too?

Besides, Biden just has horrible policies. Palin is just a horrible person in general, the type that really needs to stay in Alaska so that we never hear about her again.

How about that interview with Charles Gibson. That was great. The McCain people,( Karl Rove and company), thought Gibson would lob her these simple questions and coached her as such. Then, when he asked her real, probing questions about real issues, especially foreign policy, she made a FOOL of herself.
She is really ready to be VP. She probably gets up every morning and repeats, "I'm ready, I'm ready", like Spongebob Squarepants. and speaking of Spongebob, has anyone noticed that her voice sounds exactly like Plankton's computer wife?

    Karen? Hahaha! She does!

Please explain to me what makes her a horrible person, is it her belief all people are created equal and won't abort a child. Is it her down to earth personality...is it her strong family values? Was it her ability to oust her own party in her own state to save Tax payers money? It HAS to be the fact that she has been the game changer in this whole election and it is tearing the Obama faithful apart because Obama peaked early, very early, and has garnered all of the dim bulbs that were on the market. The middle ground that makes the difference, has been captivated by Palin, her natural/normal American female, competant effervesence, and her ability to relate to those who heretofore were not convinced by McCain, but weren’t suckered by Borat Obama.

How many times did you have to tell yourself this before you believed it?

Or, are you still working that out?

She's not running for President. How come we're not scrutinizing Biden this way? That guy's the biggest ding-dong ever. Or even Obama?? How come Charlie Gibson never did an interview like that with Obama? He's the one running for President without even one full term of Senate experience. Gibson made it a point to rip holes in Palin's words, meanwhile Obama spews his "Change" rhetoric anywhere and everywhere without any hindrance.
I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.

I don't understand the husband-bashing. When did the vice-presidency become co-vice-presidency between husband and wife? What does his education, or lack there-of, have to do with her running for VP?
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

Maybe, instead of arguing to the bottom of the barrel, over who's less qualified; Oblabber/BinHidin or Sariously Failin/McFeign; maybe people should be be seriously considering alternate candidates other these those two ......"Real World, reality TV .....Who Wants To Be The President ......Are You Smarter Than A Polar Bear , rejects.

    Just saying.

No She's not running for president, but we all know McCain is old and you all have to consider the ...what if he dies while in office? question. Do you want Palin to be the president...even if for a short while??? Seriously!!!

  • I'm sure we could provide some ... but then you'd just deny them ... or say they didn't happen. And maybe, you'd be right.

Someone on the news last night described Palin as a "political Rorschach test" and I thought that was pretty apt. Those of us who already generally have a favorable impression of her see things that buttress that impression, and those of you who are already suspicious of her see things that support those suspicions.

Hahahaha I'm sure we could?? meaning you have NONE right now?? Good one...so yer voting cause "your a republican" only huh.
    Good fuckin rational there!!!!

Prove me wrong...I really wanna hear why people think mccain is better.

Oh, yes, the average/normal American woman certainly doesn't want the option of choice over her own body. The average/normal American woman loves to shoot animals from above. The average/normal American woman wonders how they too can get books banned from their local library. The average/normal American woman treats their childrens' names as a joke. The average/normal American woman believes the war in Iraq is God's mission. The average/normal American woman totally relates to getting to where they are in life purely based on their physical appearance.

Oh yes, Sarah Palin represents the average/normal American woman well.

Way to address the issue. Let's see, born and raised for the first 23 years of my life in the USA. You can consider me one of the minority of Americans that has lived internationally and has seen the US from both the inside and outside. I have seen how much damage people with Palin's attitudes has done to the reputation of the USA. But really, all it takes is common sense to see that she's a fringe lunatic. Doesn't matter where you're from.

Oh and good that you editted your post to come off as a bigger twat.

    God save your ignorant ass.

    God save the Queen

Some women do believe in the right to a child's life and PAlIN does have a right to name her child in agreement with her husband anything she wants. However everything else SF2 said right on point and I still can't understand why she would want folks to have the right to carry loaded weapons into a bar. Appears to be a recipe for disaster.

Yes, some, but Pepper's statement was average/normal and the statistics speak against that. Also, I'm not saying she doesn't have the right to name her children whatever she'd like, but it's not normal or average to treat something so lightly. To me that illustrates poor decision making where it really shouldn't be too difficult to make a good choice.

I just watched a feature on the national news about her membership in Pentecostal churches and their belief in speaking "tongues". THAT was "interesting".
