personally i'd get a secret thrill out of seeing cheney get probed. ;):D:p
    hear my name
    take a good look
    this could be the day
    hold my hand
    lie beside me
    i just need to say
  • Probe them about what exactly? Whether or not they responded appropiatly, or did everything possible to stop it. Or is this more nut-jobs who think the administration set the whole thing up. The first two I can see, the last is just ridiculous.

Also, there was nothing anomalous about how the towers fell. All of the conspiracy theorists just refuse to look at facts. I was watching an interesting show on the history channel the other day in which experts in aviation crashes, metallurgy, ballistics, and just about every other science or field of study that pertains to 9-11 de-bunk just about every conspiracy theory tied to this tragedy. It was funny though, they were putting scientists in the same room with these "conspiracy experts" who know next to nothing about the sciences they use to back up their theories, and even with concrete evidence laid before them that de-bunked their theories, they still refused to believe anything but the crazy stories they concocted in their heads. The truth is that the the towers behaved exactly as they should have, given the type of destruction that happened to their structures.

blah blah popular mechanics lol. consider the source my friend. who owns the history channel again??

  • blah blah popular mechanics lol. consider the source my friend. who owns the history channel again??

I was just talking about one of the shows I've seen. There is plenty of information out there to exlain why the towers fell the way they did. But the history channel has it's fair share of programming directed towards conspiracy theories, UFO's, and government cover-ups , so if there were any type of credible theory regarding this "anomaly" the History Channel would be jumping all over it.

The only thing that bothers me is that your name is "gimmesometruth" yet any information that is contrary to what you seem to want to believe is met with a "blah blah". I mean, what makes you think these conspiracy theory websites are any more credible than Popular Mechanics or The History Channel? Do honestly believe these websites, and authors of these conspiracy books don't have an agenda? And for the most part these people are usually talking about things they are not qualified to be an "expert" in, yet they are talking like they have a PhD in that field.

Since you want the truth, let me ask you this. What and who would it take to make you believe that the towers fell the way they did due solely to terrorists hitting them with planes? I doubt anybody could, no matter how much sound evidence and proven science they had, because you simply don't want to believe it, for whatever reason. However anybody with access to the internet can apparently make you believe that there was something more sinister (although the truth is pretty sinister by itself) without having anything but speculation to back their claims.

Yes there's all sorts of info out there but at the same time it's up to us to sort out the info as to what is truth and what is propaganda.

Science in the Bush: When Politics Displaces Physics
By Dr. Crockett Grabbe and Lenny Charles

Crockett Grabbe is an applied physicist engaged in research at the University of Iowa who received his Ph.D. from Caltech. He has been profiled multiple times in Who's Who in Science and Engineering.

Lenny Charles is the creator and producer of the International News Net World Report, one of only 2 daily alternative national televised news programs in America.
The most striking feature of these World Trade Center collapses is that each came down within a few mere seconds of the time it would have taken a brick dropped from the buildings' tops to hit the ground. Through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Committee Studies our government told us that the damage from the planes hitting the buildings and the resulting fires caused them to collapse at near freefall speed.

What we were told is physically impossible without additional forces to bring the buildings down.

We were told that the undamaged towers below the impact zone offered very little resistance -- effectively little more than air -- resulting in the complete destruction by the accelerating mass of the smaller top sections cascading downwards. But principles of physics starting with Sir Isaac Newton's Laws of Motion show that what we were told happened by the NIST Commission's Reports is not possible. Principles like Newton's Laws of Motion are facts that cannot be dismissed.

  • This poll seems like a little off. 30% want immediate impeachment. That seems a little high. They most have sampled 1000 people in Fremont near Seattle.

wow i am honored that someone took so much time to blast me on a message board. get a life, man really and lighten up. i said "blah blah" because we have talked about 9/11 conspiracies on this board since it happened, and have been kicking a dead horse for the last 4 years. nobody is really ever going to change their opinions on it. the popular mechanics thing has been met with all kinds of suspicion and scrutiny, and with this government's stellar track record of telling us the truth in the past, why should we believe that there was not some sort of government involvement at some level?

all i was saying is consider the source, regarding the history channel, it is public knowledge that it is owned by A&E in a joint venture (Hearst, Disney, NBC) and Sky News Corp. the network is also currently available in South Asia under a deal between STAR TV and AETN International.

Disney? Right wing nuts, Sky News Corp's CEO is Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News and now the Wall Street Journal. so i am wondering this, with a CEO like that will the history channel soon become "fair and balanced" like one "news" outlet that i know of....so you tell me, is it possible that the history channel may now have an agenda to tow the white house line just as fox news does?

as far as you stating that i might believe that conspiracy websites have more credibility than the history channel, that is not my opinion. but i am less willing to trust anything spoonfed to me by corporate america and rupert murdoch than i am from an independent source.. i will believe witnesses and people that were there over alot of what is out there.

who are you to question anyone's beliefs anyway? i believe that the buildings were hit with planes and they fell down. end of story. but that does not explain building 7. i want to believe the government's story, i really do, but there are too many unanswered questions and too much Dis-information out there. if the conspiracy theorists are so wrong, why are there so many skeptics (engineers and people out there with PHds) that question what actually caused the collapses??

You do keep avoiding that in all your hallucinations about this conspiracy.

I believe that Osama bin LAden read two books by Tom Clancy, Debt of Honour, and Executive Orders, which you may or may not be familiar with.
IN thos e books, a wealthy private citzen in Japan initiates a war against the USA, simultaneously attacking financial institutions and strategic land targets. It culminates with a pilot whose son dies in the conflict flying his airliner into the White House, obliterating the US executive.
The sequel deals with various power factions around the world embarking on further attacks on the USA, including biological warfare etc.

The events since 9/11, including the failed anthrax attacks so closely mimic those books, I really believe Bin LAden read them and thought, holy fuck, I can do that.

    opinion..ok...sure... I have it....we all do.

Don't expect it to automatically mirror reality at this point in your understanding. Do you assume ultimate understanding by default?

That would mean you know everything there is to know.

So...do you make that claim??? You know all there is to know from a schooling perspective? From a discriminative level?

I don't... but I can assure you I am well ahead of the status quo. Well ahead.

Are you status quo? Or beyond it? If so tell me how?

Where.... and how often.... and for whom do you seek the truth? At what perspective does your filter engage? That is paramount. If anything tell me that. Where do you place priority, and where do you secure information from that basis?

What perspective....kill terrorists at all costs no matter what...or peace (i.e basic common sense)

On TV? Please don't tell me that. You will not get any respect or recognition from me on that level. The truth is not to be found there...i.e. freely available in mainstream media.

where else do you look?.....and how often do you search?

    let me know...

Don't confuse me with average, or sub par... that would be your ultimate lack of understanding.

I base my knowledge of world affairs on stuff I can access through whatever media is available to me, if and when I am interested. What choice do I have ?? You will no doubt say that all teh news media are biased, and feeding me the info teh govt wants me to have, but I don't have the divine line that roland has, so I have to make do.

What I am suggesting, is that the events of terrorism set in motion by Bin Laden so closely resemble the books by Clancy, that I think that he was inspired and informed by those books. I don't subscribe to the idea that the US govt was complicit in the attacks on the WTC.

I was not aware that any of rolands rmblings contituted a rational question.
