Hard to rank a top 3, esp. as I've only been to 4 shows!

The MEN one was great for being the first show. And we got Footsteps and Timeless Melody.

Leeds Festival was amazing. Never been a fan of outdoor/festival shows, but that set was killer. Daughter/It's OK was spine-tingling.

Wembley Arena felt like a special fan-club show, for obvious reasons. And again the set was killer, even without 9 or 10 "big" songs on the setlist.

Dusseldorf was a chance to see PJ outside of my homeland, and I was so glad I did.

Hard to pick a best show. One day I'll say Leeds, the next Dusseldorf, and so on. Get back to me when I've been to 20+ shows.

    1. Alpine Valley 03 - the weather, the tailgating, the first time seeing them with 10c tickets, the rescuing some random people from a flipped-over car on the ride home... it was an experience, to say the least
    2. The Vic - Ed's solo set at the beginning in that small of a venue was worth the price of admission
    3. House of Blues Katrina Benefit - Robert Plant? Hell yeah! Even though (most) everyone paid $1000 to get in, the place rocked like any other PJ concert I've seen. I decided to walk by the venue the day of, see if my credit card could handle the charge. It did. Took a while to repay it, but it was for a good cause.

  • guys...the whole point of "top 3 shows" is the format...you cant list 147 shows on a "top 3 shows" thread. limiting as it may be, it's kinda the point of a "top 3 shows". carry on.

    I wish I had 3 concerts, buuut-

1.) Grand Rapids 06- I was literally counting down the days for about 2 and a half months. Me and my friends skipped school and got into Grand Rapids early, around 9am, just to enjoy the whole day. At about 3 or 4 I stopped eating or drinking because I didn't want to be sick or have to go to the bathroom, lol. The ticket screw-ups, the long awesome set, just, wow.

2.) Kitchener 05- My first Pearl Jam concert and my first time out of the US. I can't say anything here otherthan recall your first PJ show. :)

In no particular order(besides chronologically, that is):

12/31/91 My first show. The beginning of a sweet addiction!

07/08/03 Shook the floor, felt the power of MSG for the first time.

12/02/06 Pearl Jam and paradise. Perfect combination.

Of course these could change very soon...;)

Three best shows..... Cleveland Music Hall,1991,this show P.j. opens for the Punpkins and Chili Peppers.I see Vedder and Gossard in the aisle by our seats after their set and get to thank them. Peabodys Downunder{R.I.P.},1992,this show is in a bar that seat/stands 400 people.Ed walks around the bar before the show in a brown long trenchcoat with the collar pulled up and a skicap pulled down to his eyes.No one recognized him and pretty much ignores him because he was walking around hands deep in his pockets, staring at people like he was tripping his brains out,[he may have been].I know this because when the band took the stage the weird dude in the trenchcoat took center mike.Lollapalooza,July 1992,1" of rain mudslides on the lawn FUCKIN'LOLLAPALOOZA MAN!!!!!
