my rankings:
1. Cleveland 98
2. Pittsburgh 00: Ed had a long preset, stone sang, the "wash" incident. great finish for that leg.
3. Orlando HOB 03: small show, not the most memorable setlist, but great venue, exclusive (most were radio show winners) and my bro got us in with his "connections." its great to know someone, eh?

2. Vancouver, 09-02-05. Being front row is an experience, but I hold this show up a little higher.. Fifth row means being completely surrounded by crazed fans who are lost in the music with you. It's a tangible energy and the Vancouver crowd was insane this night. Favorites of the night were Down, Blood and the Alive (HEY, HEY!) solo.
1. The Gorge, 09-01-05. A looong drive to a magical venue, an amazing setlist, the longest PJ show ever. Not For You/To Our Home tag, Undone for the first time ever... Hard To Imagine, In My Tree, Porch AND Blood.. I'd say I've been pretty lucky Pearl Jam-wise.

As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
Drop drop dropping it down...oh so gently...
Well here it comes...I touch the plane...
Turn me up...won't turn you away...
after that, its hard to choose between a few...

2. 7-6-06 Las Vegas - Best version of Inside Job and such a great show. It was the best show of the 2006 tour that I saw.
1. 6-21-03 Alpine Valley - Great crowd, great setlist, awesome day. If you weren't there you just wouldn't understand. Listen to the bootleg and then get back to me.
2) 6/12/2007 - Munich Germany - Seeing them in Europe was such a great experience.
1) 4/12/2004 - Boston, MA The show that vaulted them to favorite band status for me ... lots of new Vitology material ... great set list (created by the road crew) amazing night.

It takes balls to put out a UKE album!
The MEN one was great for being the first show. And we got Footsteps and Timeless Melody.
Leeds Festival was amazing. Never been a fan of outdoor/festival shows, but that set was killer. Daughter/It's OK was spine-tingling.
Wembley Arena felt like a special fan-club show, for obvious reasons. And again the set was killer, even without 9 or 10 "big" songs on the setlist.
Dusseldorf was a chance to see PJ outside of my homeland, and I was so glad I did.
Hard to pick a best show. One day I'll say Leeds, the next Dusseldorf, and so on. Get back to me when I've been to 20+ shows.

Borgata Night 1- With my Little Brother. Floor
Camden Aug 28 1998 - 2nd row- Also w/ little bro/ Eddie sat in front of us while Mudhoney played drinking a cup of (tea?) - I tapped him on the shoulder to get an aloha sign and a hello- Incredible show!
Not far behind NJ 6-3-06 and spectrum 4-28-03
2. The Vic - Ed's solo set at the beginning in that small of a venue was worth the price of admission
3. House of Blues Katrina Benefit - Robert Plant? Hell yeah! Even though (most) everyone paid $1000 to get in, the place rocked like any other PJ concert I've seen. I decided to walk by the venue the day of, see if my credit card could handle the charge. It did. Took a while to repay it, but it was for a good cause.
