This is a pretty strong endorsement indeed.

  • hell yeah it is.
    i missed that one.

i think that if paul DID get the nomination (or if he went independent) he would be wise to run with Kucinich and hype the hell out of it.

This would get him as many crossover votes from The Dems as he could possibly hope for.

    :D
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

You better believe that Hillary, Edwards and the "anti-establishment" candidate Obama *snickers* would all rationalize war in a red hot minute.

ALWAYS voting to renew the patriot act, voting AGAINST capping credit card rates at 30% (I wonder if him receiving a good bit of $ from the credit card lobbyists has anything to do w/ it??) saying he wouldn't be against using nukes on Iran, being heavily funded by the nuclear lobby (which he passes off as "green" energy! haaa!), only giving real support to pro-iraq war politico's, at one point saying we need to stay in Iraq to defeat the insurgency and even then leave a permanent presence there.....

might as well vote republican, not much difference in him or many of the dems from what i can see

so, what makes you want to cast your vote for Obama? b/c the media told you he was electable?
    standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
    eager to identify with
    someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way

That's a laughable stance to have and a shame too, really. You know there is a problem when people look at what party someone belongs to in order to use that as a basis on whether or not to vote for them.

So you don't vote based on what matters most to you...you simply follow what the idiot box tells you is a reasonable choice? You have to take chances and stand up for what you believe in...no one else is gonna do it for you.

Thats crap and you know it. Hillary maybe. Shes all about power and money (thats why she is falling apart). "Not removing options from the table" in no way equals war mongering, however, and no matter how much you hate war and seek to avoid it, your naive to rule it out under certain unavoidable circumstances.

Hmm...let's see here. You said you would NEVER vote for a republican which is pretty much cut and dry. What that statement means is you won't ever vote for a republican regardless of the message...now, I don't know what you are getting at, but I wasn't assuming anything there. I was merely looking at what you yourself said.

he was talking pretty aggressive about iran, and didn't he say a year or so ago that the reason we needed to keep a permanent presence in iraq was so iran and syria knew we were serious?? it's not that he just said he would keep all options open, he was aggressive in his talk.

also your sugar on shit doesn't make sense, in that analogy isn't the cap on interest rates the sugar? or are you saying he voted against credit card interest rates?? b/c he voted to have NO cap on the shit/interest rates

you're ok w. his constant renewal of the patriot act?

If radical means something different from the same old shit we've been plagued with for years in our govt then I'm all for a 'radical' candidate because this old, tired path we've been using is only leading us off a cliff. I refuse to follow it anymore.
