Man the people in here posting have the wool over their eyes.
What more do you need? He does not know what the fuck he is talking about!
He tells everyone what they want to here!
Jackass Obama, at least get some fucking balls and stand up for what you believe in. Make a choice and stick with it.
Get em a Body Bag Yeeeeeaaaaa!
    Sweep the Leg Johnny.
  • speaking of flip flopping. . .how does one go from accusing the current admin. of the things you have about 9/11 to now obama bashing. . .so then go ahead roland, vote for mccain. . .you're lost bro
By judging politicians on the basis of their actions rather than the D or R beside their name, I'd wager.
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

Just pointing out reality...straight from the horses mouth..that's all. Sorry you see that as a weakness.

    Change you can believe in.

"To make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone: to change one's name; to change one's opinion; to change the course of history."
    http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=change&x=0&y=0

Must be another definition for change in the English language I don't know about.

Swooned over by a smooth talking politician, is not something associated with my thought process.

    Or the context of words.

Hey, if you posted a video that showed him actually contradicting himself I'd be in agreement...until that time comes you clearly...once again...tried for something that wasn't there.

It's pretty clear he is taking two differing views on Iran.

Like others have said, how can Iran really be a threat to the US? I agree our ports security is pretty week, but what exactly do we import from Iran and if they did get something in...what could be so detrimental to the US? If they flew a plane over they wouldn't get within 200 miles of any US boarder.
They are NO threat to the US, but unfortunately they do pose a threat to the area. They have the means to hit many targets in the region.

And you said yourself in another thread that they don't have nukes...and everyone knows this. They may not have nukes, but they do have an impressive arsenal and a lot of funding to back it.
Iran's citizens believe their own gov. are close to doing something and most of them are freaked the fuck out about it.
I'm sorry, it was just a bad video that shows nothing about him flip-flopping on the issue.

They are no threat to us.
They are a threat to the region.

Preeeeeety much what he has said all along and what most people have known for some time.

You're entitled to your opinion even if it tuns a blind eye...

*Illegal* nuclear program I believe he said...

....and you're absolutely mad if you think people in the US aren't afraid of nuclear weapons falling into the wrong hands...such as the fear mongering case for intervention Barak was so candidly laying out *to an American audience*...in complete opposition to his original position and rhetoric about Iran.

    complete 180...

Barack Obama detonated the strategically placed explosives that brought down the Twin Towers!

If nuclear reactors in Iran are any comparison...

It's quite possible in the future.

They have an "illegal" nuclear program after all and require strict intervention...words from the man himself.

Obama's supporters on this board really have not been making themselves, and thus they're candidate, look very good when they respond with ridiculously lame sarcastic jokes.

    Obama's foreign policy is shit.
  • Sometimes I think Obama just says ridiculous things like this just to see if his supporters are even paying attention and can objectively think about what he is actually saying.

Sorry to see reality hit you too hard in the face on this one.

    better luck next time.

Objective thinking is required in politics. Lies and manipulation abound as commonplace.

but you know that already (I hope)

    however convinced I'm not.

Awe fuck it! Lets all vote for McCain!
  • If there's one thing I've gathered so far, it's about discrediting the OP instead of objectively looking at the issue with factual information.

In a sense it's not that surprising to me.

Seems to confirm a few things.

Yeah, because as everyone knows, the REAL way to show off one's intelligence and integrity is to make solid points with carefully spliced and edited youtube video's.

Actually, alternatives have been offered. you've just been ignoring it.

oh, and sorry if I'm sensitive about the potential president talking about stuff like this. I guess I should party more often.

Yeah, that's it. Reality hit me so hard in the face...that I now subscribe to the Roland 10-Step handbook for political observation.

Step 1) Stick to your guns no matter what
Step 2) Words are only important if they support your belief
Step 3) Discover links from obscure webpages that agree with your opinion despite them being factual and post them on message boards for all to be convinced.
Step 4) Sound bytes are your friend, especially coming from a politician you dislike.
Step 5) The term "conspiracy theory" had gotten a bad name, ignore that...keep on conspiring!
Step 6) If someone disagrees with you, revert back to previous argument despite the common and obvious facts. Note: Throw in a "Nuh-uh" every once and a while.
Step 7) The more posts in a thread the better. More posts = Success!
Step 8) Have the last word. You don't win unless you have the last word/post.
Step 9) Once everyone else has become exhausted from steps 1-8...find new thread.
Step 10) Real change (not that Obama guy) will happen by not voting and persistent argument on message boards.

    :D
Waiting for similar post about all of us "blind sheep"... ;)

You know what else goes on in the name of something else that hits people hard and square in the balls on US soil? Ttorture and acts of war , and spying in the name of something else. It slaps people in line...and pretty hard.

political tactics.... recognize em...and see them for what they really are.

and you seem to keep missing the point that McBama said Iran's energy program was illegal....

Israel refuses to sign the non proliferation treaty, but not a peep from Barak on that... the double standard cars salesman...

maybe it will take a few weeks to sink in for you...

in the meantime run some logic through this http://georgewashington2.blogspot.com/2008/07/torture-doesnt-work-so-what-is-real.html and do some simple arithmetic.
