oh...they will also stand in front of your car until the police get near and chase them off.

    there favorite phrase

''comon comon comon comon comon comon whatcha want whatcha want ..common 1st row...1st row...whatcha want'' :) this phrase is said in a time span of half a ssecond..
  • how does big business win in scalping?

They don't, you could say that actually they get screwed in a sense. If some one is willing to pay that much from a scalper, who is to say someone wouldn't pay that from the original seller.

The price is determined by what the market is willing to bear and in the case of scaplers selling tickets, they have a rare commodity that others are willing to pay much more than face value for. Supply and demand, that is all it is.
Oh he fills it up with the love of a girl...

WRONG. they dont get screwed...they must set their prices before the event. if they are raised, that is price gouging..

I should have phrased that a little differently. I should say that the ticket providers could charge more than the face value initially if they wanted to for prime seating. Most ticket prices are very reasonable and would still be sold if prices were higher. I know gouging is illegal, as it should be.

alright..gotcha.. ya supply and demand is accounted for way before scalpers get their hands on anything.. or thats how its supposed to be...

there may be some huge scalper ring somewhere...like some kind of cartel or ''company'' that arranges things with the venue and the performance or show or event ..to set up a price...

    oh wait...Ticketmaster :)

Fuck that, because they know something will sell out doesn't give any excuse why they should be able to rip off people who like to enjoy live music.

Big Business win little guy screwed

little guy scalper wins cuz he gets to make money without paying rent for an office, having to have business insurance or paying for advertising (the venue pays to advertise the show, so he gets customers "for free").

Big biz, such as the promoter, loses, because they lose ticket sales.
  • I think there are much bigger isues to focus on rather than scalping
