nah, just adding another speculation to the swiss cheese story of this silver tongued sophist's "life". nice that it carried the night on the front page and turned into a history lesson for a few on the free masons.

The truth is most of you are right its a non-issue, (State Department doesn't care about other citzenships as long as you maintain your US citzenship and do not deny it to any authorities here) but it doesnt make it any less sketchy of a move on the 20 something Barack/Barry Obama/Sotero/Dunham. Understand that Indonesia does not permit dual citzenship and he was swearing an oath to a foreign government and renouncing all other citzenships (including the USA) as an adult.

Maybe though its McCain that should be looked at he was actually born in Panama and doesnt even have a brith certificate from this country (but both of his parents were citzens). How did the FBI/CIA miss that? /sarcasm

no proof just entering and exiting the country and presenting your citzenship papers from there. That is what you are doing when you hand officials from another country passports declaring that I am a citzen from whereever, and if that happens to be from a country that does not allow dual citzenship then you are renouncing any other citzenships right then and there. (mind you this is how Indonesia sees it and not how the State Department in the USA handles this situation or at least not since the end of WWII and the early 1950's)

that might not make a whole lot of sense but at lease i am trying right?

  • Am I missing something here with this dual citizenship thing?
Obama lived in Jakarta from age 6 to 10, then back to Hawaii. His mother was a student and worked for the US embassy in Jakarta. How do we get that Obama was a citizen in Indonesia?
