Enough with this Minister crap. I watched this guy for a good two hours over the last day or so. This guy is an activist/agitator/punk in a robe. This guy is seriously angry and he did more than make fun of JFK. He mocked an awful lot of, mostly white, people in his speech. Ordinarily I wouldn't give a fuck. But enough with all this "im a simple preacher" crap. That's no simple preacher. And actually if you listened to him, Obama completely stole the man's speaking style, which is actually really compelling, and a tad bit really fucking crazy.

I actually found the guy to be really compelling to listen to. But I can assure you that when the Republicans start sound biting that shit I saw last night over and over and over again in the fall, ill be laughin.

If you had a single neron firing you would recognize that reverend Wright was not "making fun" of JFK. He was pointing out an obvious double standard in the way people are judged. When white folks speak in a cultural manner that sounds a bit funny its called an accent. When blacks folks speak in a cultural manner its called ebonics and is a sure sign of unintelligence. THAT was the point. He wasn't "making fun" of JFK. What other horrible things did he say? Let me see... Oh , yeah, Black kids and white come from differnt cultural backgrounds and historical experiences and therefore may have different learning styles. OMFG!!! No he didn't! The crazy ass white hating bigot! i can't fucking believe it! Imagine the nerve of that guy! And that Obama character is a racist bigot by association. Boy that fucking Obama really had me fooled!

I personally don't care about Mr. Wright but when he said that and please forgive me for not quoting that Obama was saying what he said he was doing it because he is running an election is sad. if that is the case then what can be said about Obama. i think Obama has to come out becuase even thought it is really of no importance in the grand sceme of things poeple care about it.

First of all, i'm a Barack Obama supporter. Now that thats out of the way:

I can't believe some of you are actually defending Rev. Wright's comments. I don't care what context these particular comments were taken out of. The man is full of hate and bitterness. I have no doubt that he's done great things for Chicago and the least forunate among us but, the man's tone is hateful. What bothers me most, these were obviously not one off comments, I think over the past few days, he's made his point very clear, in a VERY arrogant way I might add. It's unfortunate that kids have to hear this growing up in CHURCH of all places. I find it HUMEROUS that Rev. Wright speaks out against racism as being a major problem (which it is) but, he's CONTRIBUTING to it. People like him are RESPONSIBLE for it.

Not being confrontational or argumentative, just conversational, what remarks are you referring to as "hateful" or "racist"? i hear none of that. i just don't. i'll open it up to anyone else. What has he said that is "full of hate" or racist?

he referred to america as the KKK of A, told his black congregation they were fighting the wrong enemy when referring to black on black crime, white man this white man that. I could go on, I'm guessing you never even bothered to read or listen to anything he has said.

Some of those early clips had him saying that the white man introduced AIDS into the black population to perform genocide, and that the white man brought drugs into the black community so they could jail the adult male population.

Here's the latest from Obama (taken from MSNBC's website):
"I am outraged by the comments that were made and saddened by the spectacle that we saw yesterday," Obama told reporters at a news conference.

It is funny that Obama supporters are still trying to pretend that Wright is a good guy even when Obama has bailed.

I'm a mccain supporter and how is this similar? mccain doesnt go to his church, doesn't seek his advice, isn't his spiritual adviser for 20+ years. mccain used him to weasel a few votes. BFD.
