Haha, anyone see this story about the girls hooking up with a 31 year old guy claiming to be 17?

Ok, the guy is fucking balding! What 17 year old guy is balding?

On top of that, this guy in no way looks like he is 17, he looks 30 as he is.

Are myspace girls just stupid?

Take a look around, stupid people are everywhere. Why would MySpace be any different?

It seems to be a hot source for older guys preying on young girls.

Actually, it's not really any different. I don't mean to be sexist here, but studies have repeatedly shown men are inherently smarter than women.

While, studies have shown women are inherently better parents, thus in an equal custody battle, the woman always wins, because of her inherent parenting skills.

On that same sexist note, men should get jobs over women. Men should get into politics over women and so on. It used to be, men worked and used their brain power, women stayed home and used their parenting skills.

I know it sounds sexist, but think about it, the legal system now favours women over men in custody battles, it's the same shit only totally unbalanced. Where as before men and women had obvious roles.

I hope that makes sense without sounding totally sexist, because personally I don't care, except if I end up in a custody battle one day, then I'll care.

Dude2: What? Put peanut butter on your balls and let you dog li-
Dude1: Shut up! I told you that happened only once you douche! But nah man...I went into a lesbian chat room pretending to be a chick! It was so hot!
Dude2: So you went into a chat room with a bunch of other dudes pretending to be lesbians and you get each other off. So....essentially you became gay for one night
Dude1: No dude! They were totally chi....fuck. I'm not gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm just not gay.
Dude2: Yes you are. and there's nothing wrong with it. Just scoot over a little bit.

It's all bullshit, that's what I'm saying. If people want real equality, they have to stop trying to prove they are better. That applies to women as well.

Well first of all, many studies show that the revenue of investing in women's education is much higher than men's.

About politics, it seems to me that both Tarja Halonen and Mary McAleese are doing pretty fine...

And yes Abook is correct, most studies are conducted by men and therefore under a masculine mindset

So, do you think it is true that men and women are intellectually equal, but women are inherently better at raising children?

Or is that a study performed with a feminist mindset?

Agreed. That and I can't stand how some women still demand special treatment like having the door held open for you and such. I hate when my boyfriend does that. I just say 'Go ahead' and then I hold the door while he goes through. I can tell he still can't get used to it, that or either he doesn't want to look rude in front of the people at the restaurant/store. I'm not trying to be a hardass but if I'm equal I don't need pointless, symbolic gestures.

Instincts come into play with raising children just as protection does for men. That doesn't prove the intelligence debate.

That's why I hold doors open for EVERYONE - man, woman, cyborg whatever. All I ask for is a "Thanks".

No shit! I can't stand it when people don't say thanks! One time I held the door open for a cyborg and he didn't say thanks. I was like
"Dude! what the fuck! get back outside! and hold the door open for me so I can act like an asshole to you!"
So he walks out and rips the door of the wall and looks at me. I'm all like

"Thank you dear kind sir. Please, go ahead of me. I would not want my inferior presence bothering you"
  • cutback wrote:

Me too! And I hate when someone walks through a door and doesn't bother to look behind them to see if anyone else is there. I always hold the door for the next person. It's so rude to let it shut in anothers face. Off topic, I know, but I just needed to vent. :)

Well, that is chivalry, it was killed by the burning of the Bra, many women still want chivalry and equality. They want men to treat them to dinner every time, but that is chivalry, not equality.

I mean even more indepth than that. If you do a web search for "gender equality" you will find thousands of programs aimed at making life better for women, but virtually none that focus on the inequalities of men.

A few examples real quick before I eat dinner of where men are unequal in favour of women where all esle is equal:

    Child custody battles
    Domestic disputes
    Gender Equality movements

Well, I don't feel eating out is a treat for just me nor do I demand it. I ask what do you want to do tonight and we go from there.

There are definitely problems in the areas you mentioned. So you guys better speak up!

I try to all the time, people act as if I'm sexist. A close friend of mine got screwed on a domestic dispute case and while I recognized it was bullshit, he didn't. It totally escaped me why he couldn't see it was unfair.

And there are still women who let men control their every move, such as a good friend of mine. It drives me crazy to see the way he treats her like a slave pretty much. Problems will always exist, the problem comes in when they are widely accepted and ignored (much like the examples you mentioned).

In the particular case with my good friends John and Shandel. They were a fairly new couple, they had just recently had a child.

Anyway, Shandel was going away for a couple of days and that morning she tried to wake John up to see her off. He basically refused and fell back to sleep. So Shandel jumped on him and started hitting him. He tried to restrain her in defense. They were yelling and screaming at each other when the police showed up, a neighbour had called it in.

The police asked both of them what had happened and they both honestly gave the same story. They photographed Shandel's bruises (restraint marks) and ignored John's. Then they took John out of the home, slapped a 6 month restraining order on him and charged them both with Assault level 1.

They went to court after a long time of not seeing each other and him having to pay the bills and support his child through an intermediary. They both plead guilty with diversion and were sentanced to 3 months of anger management counseling.

John describes his anger management sessions as a bunch of guys sitting around on metal foldable chairs talking about how to control their anger.

Shandel describes her counseling sessions as a bunch of women, sitting around on plush couches, with coffee and doughnuts, talking about how to diffuse their husband's anger.

I asked John if they had any coffee or doughnuts or anything of the sort and he said no they did not. I asked Shandel if she was given any methods of dealing with her own anger and she said they did not.

What is equal about that? Shandel recognized the inequalities, but I don't think John did. Shandel admits straight up she was the agressor and John was defending himself through restraint. None of that mattered to the police, or to the courts. To this day it makes me sick.

No, I didn't like it at all. Especially the premise that since I am a guy I am apt to cheat on her, and she constantly accused me of such.

I don't really want to talk about it actually. I am glad it's over and I'm more cautious now.

That's fucked up man, gender equality mandates are bullshit.

In Canada gender equality mandates companies have to hire a certain number of minorities, including women. So a white guy more qualified for the job than a black guy or a woman, will not get the job because of his skin colour and gender.

Actually when you fill out an application often it will have a spot to fill out if you are a visible minority, because ultimately they have to hire visible minorities, they don't have to hire white men. So that is clearly not equal. I appreciate what it is they are trying to do, but it's actually having a negative effect on our society.
