    Thanks Kenny!
  • If you think about it, this has really been the same story since the beginning of human civilization: there is an elite class of people running everything. They have all the wealth, power, etc. It's never been more true than in the world today. Corporations and bankers possess (hoard!) most of the world's wealth when in reality, no one should ever have to go hungry, no one should have to be exploited.

What we need is a revolution. The US government has grown way too powerful. The only problem with the whole revolution thing is that people are conditioned from birth not to care about their freedoms and civil rights, so long as they're able to be comfortable. The government has figured out a formula that works quite well for keeping the people docile: condition them with the idea that they have freedom, but in reality no one really is free. Do we really have any rights anymore? I can't think of one constitutional right that hasn't been trampled on and used as ass-wiping fodder.

We don't even really have basic rights, like the ability to own land. Your money and assets can be seized at any time if someone even mentions to the IRS that you may be committing tax fraud.

The good news is that I'm starting to see more and more people awaken from this daze; I'm starting to feel the rumble of social upheaval just on the horizon. When it does come, it won't be soon enough :-D
"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government..."
