Well, I think it's obvious he is playing within the rules. It's not as if there was a total overthrow of government here. It's just troubling that he's elected to dissolve the government right after the information about their new bomb has been released.
I dont see what those two bits of information has to do with eachother. The dissolvement of government right before elections smacks of politicking and maneuvering. But where does the bomb fit in? Besides from Russia wanting to flaunt military cock to the world?

sigh are you kidding me? you think bush would try and dissolve our own government? what is wrong with you people

actually, im normally anti-whacko theories, but i have scant doubt that if bush and cheney thought they could get away with it, they would not hesitate to make themselves presidents for life with no checks or balances. ever hear of the unitary executive? bush has done more of this than dick nixon, and that's coming from a guy who thinks reagan's presidency was one of the worst we've had.

if you say so. but me? I enjoy being able to freely choose who represents me. im not always happy with the outcome, but I at least I have a say.

why do you seem ok with what putin is doing? dont you enjoy freedom?

meant to reply to this post earlier, but i kept getting interrupted by few people, so when i finally clicked to post my god damn answer it wasn't posted in here.

I'm ok with what Putin is doing because he is slowly but gradually strated rebuilding the country.
When i was in Russia, the freedom that i had was enough for me. I can't speak for everyone in Russia but i think average Russian person worries more about their salary ( being able to put some food on the table and provide for the family ) and stability in the country than anything else.
