    At e-harmony, political views are one of the "personality factors" that are taken into consideration when they are finding you that "perfect match". If you two are going to be spending the rest of your lives together, then having different views about something you feel strongly about probably is not all that helpful. He won't be handsome forever, and chances are that he might end up brainwashing your kids into having the same views.

    Differing political views can be okay although I'm not sure a hardline socialist would find bliss with Adam Smith. If you're not compitable then perhaps you should think about finding someone else. I'm sure you could find yourself another handsome guy.

    i thought he was a nice guy and he made an apallingly racist and in my opinion evil comment- thats not just a political view thats a hateful thing to say, you cant go around saying things like that,where could he possibly be coming from that would redeem him from that, he pretty much said that every single arab was a terrorist and should be killed, what an ignorant cruel thing to say ., i was shocked and angry , if i had stayed on the phone i would have screamed at him so hanging up was a sensible move.
