try dear abby, she gets these all the time.
Of my innocence... got back my inner sense...
That would be it for me. I don't respect anyone on either side of this fiasco, nor do I support anyone who thinks killing is a solution.

I think it has more to do with his mentality of killing as an answer rather than free speech.
Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me
I don't think free speech is the issue. Had he said
"Bush is right, I definitely see a point to military action because..."
as opposed to
"kill the arab terrorist bastards"
the free speech argument may apply.
Don't judge him too quick, he may have been kidding or is just way too emotional about the subject. If he is very racist and prejudice kick him to the curb.
the bad idea or me befallen by it?
Killing people has always been around. EVer since the dawn of the time thre has been fighting between countries / groups of people.
People talk about these conflicts they are new but they aren't.
I agree with the whole racial thing though. There was no need for that at all.

Just because someone has the right to say whatever they want, doesn't mean that I would want to spend anytime with a person who thinks this way.

I would not call it shallow. It appears that you may have a serious disagreement. It works for some, but not for others. I guess it depends on how political each of you are. You appear to be quite political in that you've joined Sinn Fein - is he okay with that? If he's kind of opinionated, but not an activist, are you okay with that? It could be a serious incompatibility if you decide to have a long relationship or marriage. What if he said something like this when you were together at a party? Would you feel comfortable with that?

Dumping a guy over a voting choice is a lot different than dumping someone who is racist and believes in killing people based on race.
I find it dumb to judge people so harshly on their presidential choice.

Did u tell him your pro-IRA views?I'm sure he would've been glad to let you go then.
But you're gonna have to serve somebody.

How about you try to educate him?? I don't mean force your views upon him, but maybe try to have an intellectual convo with him, swap some ideas, and not give up on him. Maybe he hasn't seen the other side, maybe he is dehydrated from the knowledge to make an informed descision. Don't just drop him because he has differenct views!! Spread the Peace, don't turn your back on the lost.........:(

not defending this guy but the fact is most of the terroritsts are Arabs - its not racist, just a fact.

Have we lost our way tonight?
Have we lost our hope to sorrow?
Feels like were all alone
Running further from what’s right
And there are no more heroes to follow
So what are we becoming?
Where did we go wrong?
Nicely said, you "hung up on him?" You didn't think hey maybe I should talk with him to find out where he's comming from? Instead you came to this forum to ask the opinion of perfect strangers? I would do HIM the favor and dump him!
