Ha ya then he added how they would never play that song again unfortunately they didnt stick to that. Not a fan of it anymore, perhaps because, aside from tonight it gets played ever concert and the dragged out boom solo is less then desirable.

Not exactly a quote, but before the San Diego show in 03? He told the story about his former teacher Clayton who had passed away while they were recording "Mirrorball". Ed talked about how that inspired him to write the music to "Long Road" and it was very touching.
