I really must disagree with you. Breath is a great song but for me, personally, I would definitely get sick of it if I listened to it too much. It's one of those songs that can really lose it's effect if it's overplayed, unfortunately.

Sometimes: In my senior year in High School I had the scarriest public speaking engagement of my life. YMCA has a "mock government" program for HS students in which you spend 3 days holding a mock state goverment session. You write bills, vote on them, etc. I was running for Governor that year. This meant talking in front of groups of 200-300 people. For the duration of the 6 hour ride down, I listened to Sometimes on repeat. That song is like a warm fuzzy blanket for me, so calming, and reassuring. I'm sure Ed may not have meant it to have ANY positive religious feeling to it, but that's what I get from it.

Indifference: This song changed the way I look at life. Stop letting people control you, and stand up for yourself. I took it to heart.

Do The Evolution: I LOVE opening the sun roof and singing along to this in the car, especially the scream that starts the song! :)

I think I would start to loose my mind if I had to hear any song for more than an hour straight.

Didn't MTV do something like that with a Madonna song many years ago -- played it nonstop back in the days when it played music videos? I don't know if it was one Madonna song played over & over, or just Madonna songs. I didn't watch it, but I have a vague recollection of the hype.

Is there an unwritten law that the song must be a Pearl Jam song?

Because when I read the question, the first and only song that come to mind was Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's "American X".

9 minutes of fuzzed out, fabulous guitar and bass to die for!

    I'd have to say:-

    Corduroy
    Unemployable
    Thin Air

It's such a hard call..so it has to be a three way tie for me!!
