It all depends on what the US taxpayer thinks he/she accomplish financially. Iraq costs 600 billion a year. It's 10 more years in Iraq dem style v.s. 100+ more years McCain style.
The US would be far better spreading a wave of commerce rather than democracy.
The money has to come from somewhere at some point...
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.
