Some even make the claim that the Rambo was "Johnny Appleseed's favorite variety",[36] ignoring the fact that he had religious objections to grafting, and preferred wild apples to all named varieties. It appears most nurseries are calling the tree the "Johnny Appleseed" variety, rather than a Rambo. Unlike the mid-summer Rambo, the Johnny Appleseed variety ripens in September, and is a baking/applesauce variety similar to an Albemarle Pippen. Police state town? Redmond sucks? Mt Rainer taking people to hell? If you hate Seattle so much why is your name 'Ravenna Seattle'? What evidence do you have to support Seattle is a police town? The WTO riots were 8 years ago, besides the fact that they are making a cheesy movie about it with Charlize Theron (sp), no one ever talks about that. Microsoft has done a lot for this area, same with Boeing, Starbucks, Nordstrom... Seattle is an amazing place to live, but if you want to scare people away with a bunch of false statements, I guess that's ok, it just means better Pearl Jam tickets when they play here next. I do however agree with you about Dino Rossi, that election was a complete joke, he won and should be our governer.

I used to think there was a lot of smart people in this city. Did you know Seattle is the most educated city in the US? Over 50% of the adult population has a Bachelors Degree. UW Seattle is the 11th best public school in the country. And it's like four blocks from Ravenna. How lucky are you?

I don't think he lives in Seattle anymore. I recall that he moved up north (Bellingham?). So that's why I assumed something bad happened, and he was chased out of town or was running from something.
