My buddy from work used to work at Rock Records in Chicago back in the early '90s. Eddie came in, a few people talked to him, and he 'signed' a few copies of the Ten album. My friend grabbed a few of the CD's he 'signed'. He laughed his ass off when he read them. The slit the plastic on the CD's and kept the wrappers ed 'signed'.
Fast forward 16 years. We have a company Christmas party and you draw names for gifts. You have to give that person a gift of $20 or less. Net, net he draws me and FRAMES the cellophane with ed's 'signatures' he's kept for 16 years. The 'signatures' that ed wrote on the CD's in the store:
1. too expensive
2. *Who?
3. steal this
best gift ever. Period.
