i sent this to a very special friend of mine and couldn't help but see the formations.....;)
peace...
lol, i have no clue. but i'll bet they're tasty.
i love seeing huge geese formations when they're migrating. i'll try to remember to get the camera out later this year when we see them and get some pics to post. there's also some canadian geese down the street from my place, hanging out at the river with their babies. if i remember, i'll snap some pics of them, too.

I can't figure it out either. best i could come up with is 'barnacle geese' and still the heads don't look white enough. they look like bald eagle geese, to me.

great shots of the formations, just no shots close enough to really tell what kind of geese they are. not that i'm any kind of authority on geese, i'd probably still be puzzled if the camera was right in the damned things face. canadian geese, i know them fuckers. i see them all the time when there's no snow on the ground.

some traits never change!! i trust you already have been exposed...i didn't think the links were right, and got really frustrated; i forgot all my niks at photobucket, so i ma trying to refresh me memory...here ya go:
On the way to the coast; took west road through trees to go look for migrating whales:
This hiway is marked as a Cali state hiway. It's one road where you can't even see edge of pavement because pine needles cover 1/2 of the one lane thourough way.
I liked how this green stood out in this background:
Finally getting close to Pacific Coast
Point Arena Lighthouse
Heading south
That's all folks!!
