I've often wondered about that too. Especially in places like the middle east where any kind celebration is a good reason to fire hundreds of rounds into the air. Newton says that those bullets will come down at the same speed at which they went up. . . .
Newton was correct.......and it's almost always someone other than the shooter that pays the price. Really brilliant stuff.

yea the guy had other issues....but...my thought about guns is this....people love their guns...they're really cool...highly machined...cost a pretty penny...gonna just let it sit on the shelf collecting dust??? Hell no......lets go out and shoot something....power, adrenalin......bam...snorker's shot....neighbors kid is accidentally shot....goes on and on. Lets shoot it in the air on New Years.......guns don't shoot people.....lame brain Americans with guns shoot people..hence they need to give them up. (-:

So should we give up cars too. Lets see, they cost a pretty penny, they can be pretty cool, they're highly machined. Gonna just let it sit in the driveway? Hell no, go out get drunk/high and go really fast... bam...innocent driver accidentally killed in head on collision. The stories go on and on. Lame brain Americans with cars run in to people...hence they need to give them up. How do you feel about that one. The majority of hunters in the U.S. go through hunter safety classes. The majority are well educated about the dangers and adhere to guidelines and are generally very safe. It's the same w/ many other things, a few bad apples give it a bad name.

No, we are not talking about the Cheney hunting story here. I believe he was drunk, not high, but anyway. Stay focused.

I know what i was talking about. If you don't think meth fucks w/ your brain then i guess you're just dillusional. Besides the article doesn't even mention that he was drunk, but, he WAS arrested for being in "possession of methamphetamine and marijuana." Do you really think he just had that stuff on him for fun? The are everywhere in Oregon and Washington. They cause a lot of problems burring holes in the diking systems that surround many cities. They have government trappers who trap them to thin them out. Never heard of your average Joe being able to hunt them.

Cormorants in Michigan are quite a large problem as well. The habitat around their nests gets destroyed because their shit is highly acidic. Everything just becomes a wasteland. They have also been severely depleting the fish population. They're federally protected though and can't be touched.
