    No, it's not. But I will say that I think Limbaugh probably wants people to blame him for "magic negro". It seems he believes that being hated is better than being forgotten.

    Dude, I worked in a trailer on a coal pile for one year and listened to Limbaugh every day for his three hours unless the Cardinals played a day game. I couldn't stand the horrible FM radio stations in southern Illinois and this was pre-sports talk in this part of the world so he was the only option. This was back in '93 or '94 so I got to hear him in all his Clinton-bashing glory. Ruth "Buzzy" Ginsberg, the Somali warlord "Skyhook Abdul Jabar," Jocelyn Elders, etc. He would make some good points but he also said stuff for simple shock value.

    he does say things for shock value b/c it's about time...i grew up listening to people like maher and carlin....as a kid i'm sitting there watching them and everyone is laughing and i'm like "seriously?" throw in snl, and every other media outlet...

    rush was the first one to make his points, but introduce humour...he was the first voice in mainstream media that didn't portray you as holding conservative values as a judgemental hatemonger...and actually embraced his beliefs

    again, a lot of us in fly over country get that.

    That's not what I meant. I meant this ENTIRE thread is the joke. It's a joke response to a thread created by Purple hawk. Therefore, everyone who is saying rush called obama the magic negro, is joking.
