I was kinda on the fence until I realized that I DO believe in dinosaurs.
    LOL...:D

Yes, both Veep candidates have forced me to the undecided route. I can't make myself vote for either ticket because of these two turds.

  • i'm undecided...leaning towards third party.

im an independent voter - socially very liberal and mostly a fiscal conservative.

anyone who broadstrokes mccain = bush, dont think that argument holds much water. if mccain took out bush in 2000 and actually won, i think things wouldve been drastically different now, 8 years later. i used to think much of mccain, but i can't believe the sh*t he's pulling in this election. he lost ALL credibility when he choose palin.

hell, its so freakin scary how close they are, forget mcaain = bush. the real problem: PALIN = BUSH. the similarities are eerie - same way of thinking, same mental capacity, same attitude to thwart investigations, same demeanor, even same way of talking. have you seen the interviews, that pseudo-confident-forward-sitting-unblinking-lean? how she recites her answers? its sickening that win or lose, she will be the face of the republicans.

as for obama, hes "same-old, same-old" but in different packaging. and it amazes a bit how many people are drawn to him. to his credit though, i believe he's competent though, and thats something thats been missing for the past 8 years.

    very well put....

I'm a Ron Paul supporter more and more everyday and as far the Republican Party goes I was believing that McCain would be my second choice before the primaries.
I was actually quite pleased to see Obama vs. McCain for this election, but goddamn McCain really shit on us by letting them put Palin on his ticket...

I believe if most of the population would say they were undecided it might actually make things more clear. So with that in mind... if 50% (or more) of the nation said they were still undecided about the war in Iraq would the Republican party be trying so hard right now to distance themselves from the Bush administration?

    I don't think so.

    That's why I'm voting Obama.

It's just that for me, if I look at the issues and if the issues are important to me, there is no way in good conscience that both candidates could appease me. I suppose if you could go either way on abortion, for example, you might be able to kind of look the other way on it and go with someone who you disagree with on that issue. It's tough for me to fathom though.

What if you have strong feelings for a few key issues/etc that conflict between the 2 parties? You know, like being pro-life, but pro-NRA, and you are against the war but maybe, say, have sexist views and do not want a female in office? I think it is very easy to be undecided.

That's kind of where I am. Abortion is a big issue for me, but the candidates who oppose it like I do pretty much all go the other way on other issues that are important to me. I'm not just talking about the top 2 candidates either.

I'm surprised that McCain hasn't told Sarah about any of his experiences fighting off Teradactyls...then again, maybe he has and she still doesn't believe him because God doesn't include it in the book he wrote a few years ago.
  • when i was a teenager i was really into politics and all. but now, even though i support nader, part of me doesnt feel like voting. im getting to the point where i just dont care anymore. maybe its not 'undecided' since i think they all suck. but i as i get older i see things meaning less and less. the abortion issue will probably be debated forever, so why does my opinion matter? where i stand on energy is also pointless, cause i cant attach an solar panel on my car, so im stuck with what toyota or ford releases.

i just wanna listen to music and sleep, and care less about all the other crap that i cant really change anyways. when i sit down and really think about it. $4 a gallon gas, tanking economy, lousy president. thats really nothing. i had dinner today and yesterday and the day before. i have a bed in a house that isnt made of mud and plywood. so things really arent that bad in this country. and i wont listen to the doomsayers saying we'll end up like that. no matter how bad things get i dont think we're heading for 3rd world status.

so at the end of the day politics dont matter much to me.
  • i've only decided that i'm not voting for McCain.

i live in a red state anyway, so it dont matter.

One thing I wouldn't mind... U.N. Election Monitors validating our election results. And unbiased, non-partisan.. and complete uninterested Third Party to verify that voting procedures are followed and voter fraud is not undertaken.

Wish this would happen. I really believe it would make a big difference.

i guess that's a "half empty, half full" thing. I see what your saying, but I always think there's always a way to make things better.

My response - if you are undecided, maybe look at the most important issue right now - IMO the economy - pick the person who you think can handle this problem better. I'm sure we would all like to keep our houses, and our jobs.
