I know this is a hard concept, but sometimes YOUR perceptions of people's emotions that you concoct based upon written words in a forum isnt on point. And no it doesnt need to be okay with you. Is it okay if I post as I see fit? Because you too seem to be getting testy with some people (me) just for posting as they (I) see fit. Relax abook, go find a good conspiracy webpage, crack a beer, grab a joint, and don't worry about me. :)

And you didnt really just ask a simple question out of curiousity. dont bullshit a bullshitter. You then judged me, in stating that if you were me you wouldnt come here, due to my level of contempt. Thats an opinion offered, not a simple question.

    Jeez....

I did ask out of curiosity. You are a piece of work and you're only succeeding in embarassing yourself. You may not believe this but I'm starting to feel embarassed for you. I'm chillin just fine and maybe once you take a deep breath you can begin chilling out as well. Don't bother with another attempt to bait me into a childish fight w/ you...it's not gonna work.
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

I like some things about this place. Pearl jam Still has great songs, and when ed is singing and not talking he's the best. Why, cant I disagree or be disgruntled and still be a fan? How can you not be a fan of a band that has Mr Michael McCready? I dont feel contempt for pearl jam. I feel contempt for the blatant double standards here on this board, and contempt for the hypocrisy running rampant here.

I am however done giving any of my money to them. But no matter what drivel comes out of Ed's mouth, nothing will ever change the way Pearl Jams music has helped me, healed me, and driven me.

that ok with you? Or are only like minded people allowed to express themselves freely?
I agree with alot of what you say, but also see hypocisy. You can absolutely agree or disagree. Double standards on this board = free speach. Not giving money to PJ? Ok, but that means not going to concerts or buying albums, so why deprive yourself? You've already stated that PJ has "helped you, healed you and driven you". That seems to me like killing the hand that feeds you a bit. :D:)
I'd say just take it for what it is and enjoy. Life is too short to get caught up in the details. :)

As has been stated in the past, we are not granted the same freedoms of speech here in this public/private forum as we are say if we were on TV or out in public. Intentional baiting/offending is prohibited on this board. Unless you're a lib apparently. ;)

    Clinton was not a liberal.

That's convenient....so the liberals weren't in power during the Clinton administration?

Exactly what would liberals have done differently?

Clinton was the best Republican President in the last 30 years. Also, Republicans controlled the congress from 1994 to 2000 so you need to get your facts straight before you post things that you know nothing about.

    Here you go.

Liberals would not have gone along with Clinton's welfare reform or NAFTA or the Defensive Marrage Act

Why is it that 95% of Americans have no idea what being a "liberal" actually means?

    Here you go.

Liberals would not have gone along with Clinton's welfare reform or NAFTA or the Defensive Marrage Act

I was speaking to the my original post about Sudan, what would they have different that would have had them on the correct side of the issue.

As for NAFTA, I was learned from a good liberal professor years ago about how important globalization was and that NAFTA should be approved. He loved it because of the multicultural aspects of it, and the concept that we would be helping citizens of the world share in the economies that were already strong. Seems to me that globalization has only recently become an issue that liberals don't like. Being a conservative, I had a problem with it because to me it seemed to force a blurring of borders and creating lower wages for the US.

Welfare reform - why wouldn't a liberal want to reform one of their own systems that is not working properly? Everything can be improved, right?

Defense of marriage, well I don't recall all the details, but does a liberal have to be defined by agreeing exactly with you on every point?? Does every liberal disagree with Clinton on his policies NOW?
