I cannot even imagine what goes through some people's minds.

It makes absolutely no sense to me at all.

I couldn't live with myself if I inflicted this kind of physical, emotional and psychological trauma on another human being.

I do hope that some positive change does come from this case though.

I'm not sure... I know the latest referendum on abortion (the one regarding suicide as a threat to life) was seriously close. Actually I just looked it up and it was 50.42% to 49.58% :eek: . The total turnout however was only 42.89%

Just looking through some of the other news sources at the time, Bertie Ahern warned before that referendum that a no vote would lead to abortion on demand :rolleyes:

Right!

That was only 5 years ago so I think we'd need to leave it another 7 or 8 years unfortunately :( . Thing about abortion is that you have the old people totally against it, middle aged people probably split, young men split and young women probably mostly for it.

I see he also tried some scare tactics :(
