    No thank you. He’s got his hand out for seven billion in govt. contracts and at least another six billion in govt subsidies, then cries about govt spending. EVs don’t do as much as you think for the advancement of humankind.

    As is The Take to think it boils down so simply. Less Republican/Democrat, so if you want to equate political parties with the same weighted balance you do you, but personal views are politics. We could drone on and on about "politics" and we can come up with many definitions of what that word means to people. All politics are personal, as in they are their personal views. Like if I were to give you an "extreme" take of mine it would be the only good war is a class war imo.

    So to deify "successful" (extremely loose and subjective term, especially when it comes to Musk) business owners is fucking weird. Drag them all is my view, especially a guy who has taken full advantage of a system to even allow him the privilege to inflate his wealth, all while laying people off. Weird how it so happens that the Texas AG is investigating bots on Twitter now that a Texas-based business owner, whose personal views are shifting oh so conveniently, may lose billions of dollars due to this invested interest in said company. Weird how that happens!

    It's always rich to see who's telling on themselves with their apathetic takes that "everyone's on a side and I'm stuck here in the middle", and what they consider "the middle". Such stoic stances.

The number of bots has been a number that was declared in quarterly filings for years,  and was public at the time he made his bid.  He should have included this in his terms sheet. Now the Texas govt is coming to his aid. It's total bullshit.

    He's a lunatic.  Investing excess Tesla cash into bitcoin was irresponsible.  Now the value of Tesla is tied directly to the value of bitcoin.  This is another reason he's trying to exit the Twitter deal.
