    Re: Blair's courage

One has to have access to regular feeds of CBS, ABC and NBC, as well as the US home version of CNN, to realise that actually, the BBC here isn't so bad. I have access to these US stations, and their content is astonishingly poor in comparison with BBC News 24. How would people know the deal I was posting, a couple of years ago, about Hutton and the Downing Street memo, in the States, when the big news on NBC seems to be, at the moment, about this bint who used to present the US version of "Millionaire", taking over as anchor?

If you watched these shit stations - glad I don't have Fox - you might think, on the shiny toothed surface, Blair was a leader of darkbrained children into adult, civilised light. However, if you read Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness, you might pick up some sense of precedent from all this nonsense.

that's not my point you don't see everyday what this country's gettin in to it's the most expensive economy in the world we pay double what you guys do cos we have what's called nhs which is a health service but we're hardley entitled anymore cos asylum seekers and muslims are using it yet we are paying etc etc .

now there is no need for racism. there are a lot of reasons why the nhs isnt as good as it should be so dont go down the The Sun or The Mail route of blaming immigrants/muslims.
  • Here here. Did you know immigrants bring more money into the country than they take out?

its a common misconception that "foreigners" are the cause of all britains ills.
In most cases they are working below the minimum wage, paying outrageous rents and council taxes.
You only have to look at the recent crime figures to realise that the majority of crimes are being committed by home grown criminals.

its not a "misconception". it is infact a lie propergated by the right-wing press and it is sad how many people believe them.

Like our leader Mr Bush, It takes a brave man to send others to die while living a life of privelage and attending thousand dollar fundraisers on a weekly basis.
I mean, at some point, champagne gives you burps. And ANBAR province has nothing on those burps.

And Bush knows all about war from his traumatic experience flying extinct WW2 era bombers while getting drunk, doing blow, and missing his ANG commitments. You think life comes easy with a last name like Bush?
