I'm not making the Chinese a scapegoat... I'm asking why the 'Radical Muslims that want to Take Over The World' don't regard China as this big enemy. Why is it us? It's probably because China isn't over there, buying Middle Eastern leaders, who end up oppressing the people with the weapons we provide them. And you can bet, if China were doing it instead of us... there would be a Jihad against Beijing instead of Washington.
...
And you claim the Muslims don't hate the Chinese because they're afraid the Chinese will 'Fuck them up'? Where does that reasoning come from? Because of Tienimen Square? Who has China 'Fucked up', other than pacifist Buddhist monks and unarmed dissident students? What military has Red China ever taken on?
...
Chinese and Muslims aside... who's fault is it that we are addicted to oil? You act as if we are minding our own business and for no reason... other than we read the Bible... the Muslims want to exterminate us. If we were minding our own business, we would just buy their fucking oil and say, "Thanx, assholes..." and be on our merry way. Why can't you even admit that we are part of the problem?
I know you're not making the Chinese a scapegoat. I was refering to the way radical Muslims make America the scapegoat for their deparate state. China is not in the Middle East politically becuase nobody there wants to buy what their selling. Who the fuck wants to be a communist in the Middle East? Now who wants to live under Democracy in the Middle East? I'll give you a hint, the second option is more popular. Also, the Chinese aren't there becuase the Americans are. Our policies and actions in the Middle East are only making it a better place for China to do business with. Go look at the statistics for foriegn investment in countires ruled by dictators vs democratic governenments. Basically nobody wants to do business in that kind of environment.

Explain how do you know that the Middle East wants democracy? You have no basis for saying that. We don't know what they want.
And the US doesn't want to promote a democracy over there. Heck, we don't have a democracy HERE in the US. The US wants a "friendly" government, either through elected officials or the dictator type. The US will support both as long as they are "friendly" to US interests.

True... the LAST thing in the U.S.'s Best interests is a Democracy, right? I mean, haven't you heard? Muslims all hate us and want to erradicate us along with our puppet masters, Israel. Who do you think people who hate us will elect into power? If you said, "What is... other people who hate us"... then, you would be correct. Why would the U.S. want to put the people who want to destroy us in charge of our oil?

Hence why we ignore the oppressive rulers of Saudi Arabia. If we where really truely interested in stopping the spread of global terrorism we could accomplish a lot by taking a hard long look at Saudi Arabia.

Not really. Their time will come. Just because we ally with them now, does not mean we don't have plans and prefferences for them too, ya know? If's not like Bush of Condi Rice can speak in public about what we're trying to do to their government.

Because we have no plans for them. As long as they control the spigot we will continue to turn a blind eye to their activities.

I think its worth mentioning that radical Muslim doctrine DOES refer to the eradication of all non-believers. It would be a mistake to assume that the Chinese are somehow safe. Hindus in India are not safe. Neither are Buddhists in Thailand. The U.S. is seen as the major target by many groups, yes, and that is probably because Americans do many things to attract this sort of negative attention. But the ideology exists all over the world, and its not simply a direct result of American actions.
Good point. I understand that this "convert or die" philosophy goes back centuries. In fact, the Catholic Church justifies some of their crusades efforts as a response to the expansion of Islam. Once they conquered Turkey, west Europe got really concerned.
However, I believe this is used, by both sides, to justify the power struggle for other more important economic factors.
