  • Sarah Palin isn't running for president. she isnt worth all this attention.
  • First off, it's obvious that both vp picks were politically motivated as said above. As far as being commander in chief of the national guard...please. Do you honestly think that our country wouldn't know if Russia was coming and if they were do really think that Sarah Palin would be calling the shots. Our military would be on that before she even knows about it. I understand why she appeals to people, mostly women, due to where her roots are. In my opinion I'd say a couple years from now she'd be an alright VP pick but at this stage it was just to pick up female votes...let's be honest people.

I'd say most "Rebs" wouldn't care what you called her. She's a down-to-Earth, common person that most of middle America can identify with. You far left liberals keep bashing her all you want. Every time someone closer to the middle sees the hippies and limo liberals making fun of Palin for no experience (though she has more than "N"Obama), it will make them that much more likely to vote for her.
    Keep it coming...
Don't flatter yourself... your one vote in VA isn't worth anymore than anyone else's.
You poor bastard. You actually support a republican after the last 8 years?

I didn't say she was the commander in chief....I said that she was "like" the commander in chief. I'm not an idiot, and I know that the military would be well aware if Russia was to pull something. I was merely stating a fact, that the National Guard is on 24/7 and that she is used to receiving information from them. That she is trained in certain emergency situations that someone else might not be. Listen, I don't think she was the best pick for McCain, I think he looked over far too many people before he landed on her. However, She is not nearly as bad as some people are making her out to be.
  • Sarah Palin is the governor of Alaska. Alaska is the only state with the National Guard on duty 24/7 because of Russia being so close. She is basically a mini commander in chief up there. She has to know what is going on around their borders. I could care less whether or not she believes in Dinosaurs because honestly that doesn't really effect any of us. I mean when was the last time you heard of Dinos being a problem? The fact is even though she has only been the governor for less then two years, being in control of a state that is right next to a giant country like Russia opens up someones eyes and makes their training happen a hell of a lot quicker then say the governor here in Massachusetts.

Wow! This post is amazing in it bewilderment.

Yeah.. ok.. you keep thinking she is her own little commander in chief to a state that the ENTIRE states population has less people than the population of the capital of IDAHO!!

Oh, and dinosaurs become a problem when people claim they never existed or existed next to man and want that taught as science. These people hear voices that tell them to go to war and kill the infidels.

And another thing, why not attack Obama's counterpart....McCain? He is the one that will be controlling the country if he wins...or do you honestly have nothing against him?

I say by taking a close look at Plame and her lack of skills is attacking McTimeout for his poor choice....

  • Puppet.
Seriously. How would they defend her?

I'd say that it appears that when liberals dislike someone they attack them on the same 2 fronts:

    1) They say peole only like them because they'd liek to have a beer with them...that they are not as intelligent as the mighty Democrats..

    2) Then, after bashing all the candidates views saying he/she is a moron, they then always call them a puppet with someone else pulling the strings.

I'd say, it's time to find a new direction.

I certainly understand people disagreeing with Palin on the issues, but ti's tiresome the way those that claim to be so intelligent alway sstoop to personal attacks of the candidates instead.

Are you denying that women have not flocked to her because of her "relatability"? They all want to "do lunch" with her.. this is not so much as an insult on the candidate, but of the sheep who flock to these type of candidates.. deciding who who should be commander in chief based on if they can relate to the candidate.. it's RIDICULOUS!

Sorry, I personally would rather have someone in office that I may not want to have a beer with or "do lunch" with ~ I want someone making decisions for this country who is BRILLIANT.. and sorry.. Sarah Palin with her journalism degree from University of Idaho (no slamming that University.. GO VANDALS!) to a few small town news channel gigs.. to mayor of Alaska small town to governor is not what I consider a BRILLIANT scholar.

If you want to discuss the puppet master topic.. this candidate has been in this race for 4 weeks.. she has had no press conference.. two interviews with the media, one informercial with Sean Hannity.. she answers no questions from the press traveling with her.. yeah.. sure ~ she is not a puppet being controlled by every tiny bit of everything that comes out of her mouth.

Also.. I think for the most part the personal attacks on Palin have been pretty low on this board.. people are QUESTIONING her QUALIFICATIONS and BELIEFS, WHERE SHE STANDS ON ISSUES.. and frankly most people, like I ~ are REALLY CONCERNED about this person potentially having the presidency dropped in her lap. That is concernable. VERY CONCERNABLE!

actually, alaska provides 4.5% of u.s. energy, not the 20% lie that Palin claims.

    thanks.

Something scary, I do know people who vote for somebody they’d like to have a beer with. I understand why, but it scares me at the same time. sure, there’s people out there that are like that.

To be honest, I really have no faith in the American voters. Or I’m sure they’ll be errors at the polls on election day. I would not be surprised at all if a Rep is put at the helm again.
