The southern sky though :eek: wow! Do you know I never knew the stars were different in the south til I went to south africa and wasted too much time looking for the plough

Yep!! I love watching the moon, the stars. That they are such a constant is really comforting to me. hehe! I have a shocking time trying to find things and I can't believe how different the sky is in the Northern Hemisphere. It's awesome when you think of it! Different view.
It's changed out there already too. Now there are clouds that have come across BUT the ring is still there, it's just smaller now and has a pinkish/reddish tinge to it through the clouds. Just awesome!! NOPE!!!

My camera's not good enough to pick up the rings and stuff once the dark rolls in but I finally managed to get this one of the moon coming up tonight. I'm a bit excited about it because I've been snapping away at the moon for months and this is the clearest shot I've managed. At least now I know to try and take the pics while it's still light out. So pretty, and the pic doesn't do it justice but I'm happy to have finally captured it.
