cate! I've been watching it on the tele! I don't know how you can stand it! It looks just horrific! I've never seen such a load of bullshit and I really don't see why the taxpayer has to fund it. If they're worried about George's safety, and all the other leaders then they can bloody well fork out for their own security. I don't see why we should. I didn't invite them! :D

oh george is bringing his own security.

i just find it all so terribly amusing those in charge find this necessary. one would have thought it better to not tell us WHEN the leaders were arriving. but...no....instead of keeping it all low key, we know who's arriving and we know when they're arriving. that way we have plenty of time to coordinate our attacks. ;):D

Just heard on the 5 o'clock news that he's touching down in AirForce 1 tonight and that there's gonna be traffic kaos right along the route from the airport for the duration of his visit. AND he's bringing 700 staff!?!?! 700????

    What a bloody princess! :p

yes apparently AF1 touches down tonight and the main road north from the airport into the CBD, southern cross drive, will be closed to all traffic between 9 and 11:30pm. george and entourage will be staying at the intercontinental hotel for the duration of APEC.

Well one can only hope that his stay is so uncomfortable and such a drag that he's loathe to come back! ;):D

    And just a quick reminder!

DON'T FORGET TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU'RE ALL UP TO DATE ON THE ELECTORAL ROLL AUSSIES! :)

The pundits are predicting October 29th as the day, so it won't be long till the announcement is made.
