does the dog or cat have choice? or are you presuming it would be the owners choice.... after all pro-choice gives the option of choice!!!! why would i give a dog an abortion if i dont know what its feeling on the matter is...

Dogs and Cats all the time have to do things that aren't their choice, so that isn't the issue. My question, is whether it would bother some of the pro-abortion folks if we were performing them regularly on animals.
The only people we should try to get even with...

I would think it's stupid and ridiculous.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Right now I'm focusing on bringing awareness to the dangers of compulsive gambling. I've been asked to speak, by Gamblers Anonymous, at some workshops they are holding at near by colleges.

In the past I have been involved in a mentoring program, supported (and still donate to) the World Wildlife Fund, and donate regularly to Amnesty International and the One Foundation.

I almost forgot the Fair Tax. Constantly writing my congressman and Senators to please show some support for the Fair Tax and bring an end to the IRS and this ridiculous tax code we now have.

I find it curious how so many people that are pro-legal abortion are also for animal rights.

Just a question - how would some of you feel if we started performing abortions on dogs and cats? After all, there is definitely an overabundance of unwanted dogs and cats.
If a dog or cat wanted an abortion, I would absolutely support her right to obtain one.:D

It happens all the time. Way better alternative than to have the mother and kittens/puppies suffer just to be euthanized in the end because they are unwanted and don't have homes. An unfortunate reality.

Sometimes I think that the capital punishment would be the most "suitable" thing, but then you get into those endless debates with yourself about death penalty and if it's right or wrong.

Someone mentioned castration. I thinks that's an idea.

    - economic justice.
    - environmental protection and restoration.
    - government reform (most problems stem from corrupt government).
    - civil enginerring (not a typical political issue, but we could save ourselves so much time, energy and headache if we has a mass effort to reorganize the structure of our communities)
    - universal and fair health care.

    1. Consistently pro-life (anti-abortion, anti-death penalty, etc)
    2. Protection and conservation of the environment
    3. Poverty
    4. Corporate welfare
    5. Campaign finance reform
    6. Objectification of women (Shakira has an album called Oral Fixation--is that really necessary?)
