Hyper sensational to get people to read the diatribe, or prediction of the events that will get Giuliani elected?

NEW YORK — A majority of Americans say they would feel more comfortable with Rudy Giuliani in the White House than Hillary Clinton if another terrorist attack were to happen in the United States, according to a new FOX News poll.....

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,296714,00.html
Looks like another cheezy foxnews poll that Ron Paul wasn't included in. Seriously, fox should just put the word terror in their name.

So...do you get a terrorist attack before the election and end up with a war-mongering president?
Or do you get a dem president (or even, if the stars align, Ron Paul)......and an attack in about 2010/2011, while the nomination debates are starting up...so that everyone can call the dems (or RP) soft on terror....opening the door for a tough-on-terrorism candidate... that will go finish the job that his father and brother before him could not. When does that Mayan calendar end? ;)

They're probably thinking....if only we could have a LITTLE attack against us now....just big enough for people to vote ol' Rudy in....then at least if a BIG attack happens, he'll keep us safe :D

I found the perfect song for Guiliani's campaign

Don't fret precious I'm here, step away from the window
    Go back to sleep

    Lay your head down child
I won't let the boogeyman come

    Counting bodies like sheep
To the rhythm of the war drums

Pay no mind to the rabble
Pay no mind to the rabble

    Head down, go to sleep
To the rhythm of the war drums

Pay no mind what other voices say
They don't care about you, like I do, like I do
Safe from pain and truth and choice and other poison devils,
See, they don't give a fuck about you, like I do.

Just stay with me, safe and ignorant,
    Go back to sleep
    Go back to sleep

    Lay your head down child
I won't let the boogeyman come
    Count the bodies like sheep
To the rhythm of the war drums

Pay no mind to the rabble
Pay no mind to the rabble

Head down, go to sleep to the rhythm of the war drums

I'll be the one to protect you from
Your enemies and all your demons

I'll be the one to protect you from
A will to survive and a voice of reason

I'll be the one to protect you from
Your enemies and your choices son
    They're one in the same
    I must isolate you
Isolate and save you from yourself

Swayin to the rhythm of the new world order and
Count the bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drums

    The boogeymen are coming
    The boogeymen are coming

Keep your head down, go to sleep, to the rhythm of a war drums

    Stay with me
    Safe and ignorant
    Just stay with me
Hold you and protect you from the other ones
    The evil ones
    Don't love you son,
    Go back to sleep

"Norman Podhoretz believes that America needs to go to war soon with Iran. As far as he knows, Rudy Giuliani thinks the same thing."

“I was asked to come in and give him a briefing on the war, World War IV,” said Mr. Podhoretz, a founding father of neoconservatism and leading foreign policy adviser to Mr. Giuliani. “As far as I can tell there is very little difference in how he sees the war and how I see it.”

sigh, I cringe at the thought of americans actually considering an armed revolution. we are better then that.

Hell hath no furry than a bunch of folks sitting in their cubes at work on their lunch hour, typing messages on The Pit about revolting against the US gov't. And then going home and heading off to soccer practice.

I sit in an office, not a cube, and it's football practice not soccer.

I'd be terrified if Giuliani were president, terrorist attack or not! The man is an idiot, and I'm not quite sure he's entirely sane either.
