Surely some of you people had some "off" teachers....expecially those who went to college....man there are some fruit cakes there too.

    Umm, no.

I had a female gym teacher that work skirts, she was really hot too.

That's about it. there was an old myth that some teacher killed young girls and burried them under the gymnasium, but it was just a myth.

Oh, wait. I had a school counselor that I am pretty sure was a pedophile, but what school counselor isn't?

This should be interesting... I imagine that an angry group of parents will start spazzing about this. I can't wait to see Hannity & O'Reilly get on this one.

This could be a very difficult transition for the teacher, the school, and the students, but I'd hope that most high school students would be mature enough to deal with this. Open and honest discussion and education on the subject would help a lot.

Being a highschool student... I can honestly tell you the majority of my classmates (and these are the honor students) are not nearly open-minded or mature enough to deal with it. But it's good that they're trying to make people understand.

It's understood that during those adolescent years the sense of responsability and maturity is at the end of the totum pole. Why should you, you have the rest of your life for that. But it is important, no matter what age, to learn to have compassion and understanding. You are tomorrows future. This world is lacking tolerance, compassion, love and understanding. This school should be considered a model school for teaching more than reading and math. We all can clearly see the problems of the world, the adults can't get it right. So its up to the new generation to stop the wars, the hate, the power struggles, and the bigotry. Learn to listen to your hearts, not to some politician, religious extremists or others, who have hate in their hearts. Humans are not perfect, we are far from it. We all have some defects or problems. Making fun of each other is not the answer or solution either. If you learn anything in life is that we all bleed when we get cut, and we will all die one day. It does not matter what color, race, gender or sexual preferences you have. Learn that we are all in it together, and together, if unite, we can learn to deal with any problem that comes our away. But if we divide, the only ones that win are those in power. Right now, they are doing a great job of dividing and conquering. Just look around you, are you happy with what you see? So go ahead enjoy your youth, it comes and goes before you know it, but do not lose the concept of compassion and understanding. Remember, most of you will have kids one day, and you will never know what challanges they will have to face. So embrace those that are different, they have something special to share. They are hurting inside already, and definetly do not need someone making fun of them or discriminating against them.

I have given many conferences and presentations to students regarding transsexuality. At first they were aprehensive, but at the end of the presentation, they came and thanked me for opening up their eyes and hearts. Give yourselves more credit, you are all good kids, I have faith in our youth, that you will turn this ugly world around and do the right thing.

  • Ya, in my school, I don't think most people are mature enough.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
