I'll be voting for Kean. Of course my district really doesn't have the strongest Republican base - I mean Andrews runs unopposed for the House every election, but I'll do my part.

You want a true fiscal conservative in New Jersey then don't vote for Kean or Menedez. Vote for Len Flynn. Kean is the same shit sack as Menendez and will do nothing to improve the state of New Jersey. If you really want change in this state we need to stay clear of people like Kean and Menendez.

Nope, I only vote in New Jersey. It makes more sense than being registered in and voting in the Democratic Monarchy that is Philadelphia.

Rendell has no shot to lose to Swann.

I think Santorum will be about a 5-7 point loss. Like many people said, he lost the election 2 years ago when it was the whole sending his kids to school in Virginia with PA tax money scandal was discovered. That said Casey is an unbelievably poor candidate and his nickname as Santorum lite may not inspire a huge voter turnout so maybe the election will be even closer than that.

I think it was Lewis Black who said it best- so many morons preach about freeing Iraq and giving it democracy when over half of Americans dont even fucking vote.

I agree with you, but in a sense can you really blame people. Most people are completely turned off by the political climate in this country. They are sick and tired of the Republicans. They are sick and tired of the Democrats. Most 3rd party candidates are not even recognizable because they receive zero coverage. Perfect exxample my parents where not even planning on voting because they don't like Menendez or Kean. I brought 3rd party candidates to their attention and now they are voting for the Libertarian candidate, Len Flynn. Some how some way we as voters need to get 3rd party candidates noticed because the 2 party system is broken. The Republicans have failed us and the Democrats will fails us just the same. Untill people have faith in the people they elect and faith in the system voter turn out will be non-existant.

I moved my comment to the "Vote on Tuesday" thread but I agree. I would love to see a run-off type system. Anyone can run- top two in the initial vote get to debate with another vote a week later.

I guess Prescott Bush was a "Hitler socialist" then. I guess the Bush family just loves to profit off of others' death and misery.

This is the funniest shit I have seen in a long time. Brother here is a tip crack open a history book every once in awhile. You may find some really interesting facts, including that Hitler was a facist. I know they rhyme so you may have some difficulty differentiating the two but trust me facism and socialism are not the samething.

I think hitler was a bit of a socialistic facist. And I think that the dem's are facist socialists. :)

I don't bet, being a recovering cumpulsive gambler and all. Hitler may have had some socialist ideals but to label him a socialist is way off the mark. See I just concider the dems idiots and the republicans equally as idiotic.

I can agree to that. That's why I never understood all the my party is betterthan yours bullshit. I would be embarassed to show my face in public if people knew I supported the Dems or the Repubs. To me it's like having to choose between a shit sandwich or a shit salad. Sure they look different but once you take a bite they both leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Even if you chose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Until "vote for the lesser of two evils" is rectified and revamped, I still gotta for the most part vote Republicrat rather than Demublican.

See I take the third parrty approach. If we continue, of course this is strictly my opinion, to continue with the lesser of two evils we will never be provided with anything but. We need find candidates out there that will work for the people. That will fight to fix all that is wrong with our government. To you this candidate may be a Republican or a Democrat or a 3rd party candidate. We need to stop thinking that by voting 3rd Party we aremeerly throwing our vote away becausethat is exactly what the powers that be want us to think. Just think about how many voters in this country must be completely fed up with the 2 major parties. If all of these people voted 3rd party, wether it be Libertarian, Green, Socialist, Working Families Party the Dems and Repubs would start to loose their grip on control and be forced to put forth more worth while candidates.

yep nothing to do with socialism at all right...

Nazism, or Naziism, officially called National Socialism (German: Nationalsozialismus), refers primarily to the ideology of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (National Socialist German Workers Party, or NSDAP) under Adolf Hitler. It is also used to refer to the policies adopted by the government of Germany from 1933 to 1945 (known as Nazi Germany or the "Third Reich").

Hitler was not a true socialist. Hitler intigrated Nationalism into his political ideals when creating his platform. He used both idealogies in order to harvest support from both the left and right. Yes he did implement many social programs that would coenside with socialist beliefs, but Hitler's form of socialism, in my opinion, was far to right wing, to be true socialism.
